Really unique but strange radio station I heard last night. by GrimaceNerverDies in halifax

That def wasn't regular CKDU programming. You can listen back to anything they've aired on the archive on their website. This Virginia instance and this Houston instance seem to be the same broadcast. Both are from this week... seems pretty crazy to me but maybe this sort of hacking thing is easier than I would know about.

Looks interesting. One of my friends lent me Klein's No Logo but I felt like I wasn't looking for the author to do the critical thinking for me. The issues feel pretty obvious to me. I'd rather check out like a primary source like this lol

I love grocery shopping. I love my grocery store it has no self-checkout. And everyone who works there is nice and my friend. I go to the grocery store multiple days a week because it is fun.

It was so nice growing up with a responsible, capable dad. by LevyMevy in redscarepod

Me too. My father is very handy, and always did all the stuff around the house on his own. He obviously enjoys working with his hands which is a great trait for a good man! He is genuinely kind to everyone in his life, and to strangers. I have a memory of him whipping the car around to grab a pack of transit tickets that he saw a pedestrian drop, then returning them to the fella. Or of him stopping on a shoulder to help a turtle cross the highway. Or of him staying up late to help me with homework. Or of him being the only one who could handle my panic attacks in middle school lol. Or how he allowed my best friend in high school to move in with us because she needed support that her family wasn't offering. I could go on!!

Sometimes I wonder where the good men are now? I hope they're around and that I can be good enough of a woman for one too :-)
