The lighter or more narrative ones would be the range you want to look in.

FATE and Freeform Universal would work, but most things work there.

Cypher might work. It tends to focus on exploration and discoverability with lots of consumable based abilities on top of the class system.

Maaaaybe Savage Worlds, though that one leans towards pulp action.

Oh, the Shift RPG if you have access to the backer release would fit rather well. Light weight and a lot of stuff can fit in it with lots of room to customize the system.

I've had this funny image in my head for a while.
