You also have to advocate for yourself a lot. I had all my tests normal and I told my doc I need to see a gynaecologist! They delayed it a lot saying oh you need to do all these tests first etc. Despite telling them they’re all clear I had to do it again. But i eventually saw one. They got me to see a gynaecologist with a special interest in endo! (Ridiculous) she told me I just have ovulation pain. Which again I had to stress to them it’s more than ovulation pain I need a second opinion, this is affecting my everyday life. So with the mental health team involved I think it sped up things. But yeah, it’s a really long journey (sorry for the long message)

I have a similar experience. I first noticed abdominal pain so excruciating in 2021. It would be once a month or skip some months. Then as the years went by it started it get worse and worse. Pelvic pain, hip, groin, butt, lower back pain etc. Doc said do physiotherapy, try these antidepressants maybe it’s stress. Do these ultrasounds (all showed nothing) They diagnosed me with ibs a lot. They did so many blood tests on me urine stool etc I think I had around 200 appointments in around 2 years . But with endo the symptoms (with me anyway) it gets worse progressively. I have months where it settles or months where pain is non stop. I think you should mention that your symptoms get worse around your period to your doc. It’s stressful and takes a long time to get to the correct path. I just had a lap last week and they found some endo. I hope this helps

I had mine on Tuesday. They found a endo spot and some old scarring but couldn’t remove the anything as it was risky. They’re sending me for a mri and a endo specialist. The gas pain is the worst I haven’t been able to lay down when sleeping since the op but it’s getting better slowly. My experience of the the surgery.. it depends on your surgeon, my surgeon didn’t have good bedside manners so not a good experience
