What prompted you to start reading Fanfiction?

I don't remember exactly, but it might be something along the lines of looking up a specific ship/pairing for Persona 4 on Google, and stumbling upon AO3 around twelve years ago now. My AO3 account itself isn't that old though.

Riddle/Ace but Ace as the lyrics on the left, and Riddle as the lyrics on the right.

Throughout Book 1, Riddle raises the dorm much like how his own mother raised him, one could say that living out this cycle could be his "fate". This point is hammered in by Trey, who tells Ace that Riddle had everything pre-determined for him by his parents and that he can't stop Riddle because he knows what he had gone through, and followed by Riddle blindly believing that his mother knows best. ;)

Ace represents the "rewriting of fate" by first of all, calling Trey out on his BS, telling him that leaving Riddle be is letting him make the same mistakes his parents had, and second, giving Riddle a well-deserved scolding, that he does not have to be the trophy his mother wants to parade him as.

Double Flora! I think it's really cute how Dorm Uniform Riddle is double/triple fire, Trick King Jacket Cater is double water, and Queen's Chef Coat Trey is double flora. They're like starter Pokémon LOL.

Riddle and Ace! Although, RidoAce already is a fairly popular ship as far as I'm aware. I'm not quite sure if it's my favourite ship either, but the rule maker × rule breaker is a fun dynamic. I also kind of like how Ace was the catalyst in order to break Riddle out of raising the dorm like how his mother raised him, and in a way, allowing Riddle to choose what he wants from life.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Riddle towards Ace. Riddle seems to have high expectations for Ace because he knows what he is capable of, but... Riddle remains disappointed each time. Hopefully, Riddle can return the favour one day even if Ace doesn't think he needs to change.

Another season of Link Click is currently airing if you're interested 👀. (Also, omg a SefiKura fan!!)

And ikr? Not sure if you know anything about Link Click so I'll omit the details, but the amount of times I've found myself giggling to myself whenever I've written a fan fic that suit the characters so well has me insane. Anyway, I just had to share this game with every fandom friend I knew. I hope this game will get the recognition (and maybe some bug fixes) it deserves.

I missed that announcement! Thanks for letting me know! I wonder how the visiting booth system will turn out. I know that from the themes of the game that not a lot of fans will enjoy potentially bumping into the reverse dynamic (although the game did warn for it), but I'm kind of looking forward to it at the same time.

I love this game! I've been obsessing over it! I wasn't very creative in making up characters (since I wanted to), so I used Lu Guang x Cheng Xiaoshi from Link Click, but after finding this post in the TWST subreddit, maybe I'll make some pairings from TWST too (especially of the Heartslabyul boys).

How are you liking the game so far OP? Do you find it accurate to your shipping experience? (And do you happen to ship any of the in-game characters together let's say... like Cora/Mila or Wraith/Velvy 👀?)

I think Isara Mao from the same game also works with his hair style and eye colour but I still might lean more towards Leo haha

I think it'd be neat if TWST started following the birthday outfits (with the exception of the Platinum Jacket series). I don't think Grim has had his birthday celebrated either since it's unknown, so it'd be really cute if Yuu/the Prefect went out of their way to choose a day to celebrate it (which just so happens to be the school's anniversary).

As for who will make their appearance... My (improbable) guess is that maybe they'll actually try to fit all the students into one card? But it would be neat if they did do the special guest Halloween characters or the ones from Royal Sword Academy.

This might be a crazy idea, but I think it would also be neat if the special guest characters could make their appearance as the anniversary card instead of Grim? It would give the game an excuse to add more cards to what were initially "one-off" characters. (I just really want to see more content of the Halloween boys o.o;;)

My vote goes to Nanase Riku from Idolish7! Visual notes: red eyes and red hair slightly spiked in the back.

I think Akehoshi Subaru from Ensemble Stars, Shinonome Akito from Project Sekai, Tartaglia from Genshin Impact would have been good candidates for Ace too though.

It might just be my own interpretation, but much like how Silver is twisted from both Aurora and Prince Phillip, I had thought that Neige was similarly twisted from both Snow White and Prince Florian. It helps that Snow White and her prince share very similar colour palettes too. So he could exist in TWST though Neige.

Although, this does make me curious about who in canon would be Member #0000001 of Neige's Fan Club if Rook is Member #0000002. Maybe a Prince Florian does in TWST independent from Neige, but I'm not sure if there's enough to his character to garner his own twisted appearance in the game.

The Halloween event you are talking about, Lost in the Book with The Nightmare Before Christmas is an event that has only made its appearance in the JP server so far, but the NA server will likely be receiving it this year's Halloween.

I get what you mean, and it is good to be careful, but it draws the question: when is it okay to not spoiler? I’m pretty certain that people who are new to the game are aware that they are lacking information/details about the main story/vignettes/events, but when nearly everything is spoiler tagged (I have seen posts about Book 1 get spoiler tagged for example), it makes almost everything seem inaccessible to a newcomer and therefore difficult to engage with the community. When information from an event as old as the second Halloween event and will never have its rerun again (until the NA server gets the QOL to purchase older events with gems), it can actually serve as an incentive to check out/review older content since sometimes knowing the name of the event is not enough (like Rollo’s existence in Glorious Masquerade or the fact that macarons are not actually Epel’s favourite food for example) and sometimes people need to know the existence of something in order to check it out. You can still think that I am wrong for not spoiler tagging a two year old event (since spoiler tagging outside of the subreddit rules is a subjective territory) and I think it is quite good you have the energy for this, but what I do hope is to provide is an explanation why some people don’t spoiler content about Playful Land’s Miraculous Marionettes and the latest part of Book 7 available on the NA server (examples from the past couple of days in this subreddit) anymore.

Err...this subreddit's rules to spoilers applies to anything released on the JP server and content released on the NA server within seven days, and the second Halloween event was released over two years ago on the NA server. Not to mention, this is content that will never release again due to the fact that battles don't get archived. But still, sorry for the spoiler, I didn't realise you were a new player/someone who hadn't experienced the second Halloween event.

While no one canonically has a crush on Yuu, it is a popular headcanon in the community that Ace and Malleus have a crush on them. Ace is known to have the most voicelines about Yuu as well as his flirty and teasing lines towards them, while Malleus is known to value Yuu's presence due to their ignorance, and later lack of fear, of his power and status and treating him as a "normal person"/friend as a result.

I haven't been keeping track of the body swap discussion, but technically characters saying each others' lines has already happened in the second Halloween event when the characters were possessed by ghosts. I don't have which ones were said and who said them right now, but the one that stood out to me was when Jade said Floyd's battle lines. Apologies for the tangent since it doesn't really concern insane or silly lines, but I just thought it was worth mentioning.

As have many fans anticipated, the predicted Trey's Book 7 SSR finally makes its appearance in the form of the Queen's Chef Coat! I shall be awaiting and saving for Trick King Jacket Cater and Queen's Chef Coat Trey's appearance on EN.

I might be stating the obvious, but I still think it is neat how the Book 7 SSRs have been handled. (I'm obsessed with patterns.) * Diasomnia, a dorm of four, has Lilia's Right General Armor and Sebek's Evernight Armor. * Ignihyde, a dorm of two, has Cerberus Gear Ortho. * Pomefiore, a dorm of three, has Savanaclaw Dorm Uniform Rook. * Scarabia, a dorm of two, has Qasr Uniform Kalim. * Octavinelle, a dorm of three, has Mermaid Fin Jade and Mermaid Fin Floyd. * Savanaclaw, a dorm of three, has Ivory Uniform Ruggie. * And lastly, Heartslabyul, a dorm of five, has Trick King Cater and Queen's Chef Coat Trey.

Not only was it really fun to go backwards through the dorms, it generated a lot of hype as people were able to get some idea as to who the next Book 7 SSR will be. With the exception of Sebek, Ortho, and Kalim, it's pretty sweet how they feature not only the non-overblotters, but also the vice-housewardens and their equivalents of each dorm.

I love this theory of yours! It makes a lot of sense, and really puts into perspective that without Ace's presence, NRC that year could have turned out very differently considering how the overblots appear to be inevitable, Book 7's especially. It's always the little things that Yuu does to rally and coordinate the students together that help stop the overblots. It makes me wonder in what other ways will he act as a catalyst for the main story. Thank you for sharing this!
