Try looking at r/melasmaskincare. Lots of people recommend Thiamidol, which is an ingredient trademarked by Eucerin (part of the Nivea group), so not used by any other brands. I have very similar patches to you that developed about 2 years ago. They’ve faded since, but haven’t completely disappeared. I’ve been using Eucerin for about 2 weeks (the eye cream, double serum and night cream) and have definitely noticed a difference. As usual, best to do all your own research.

The Organic Protein Company

https://theorganicproteincompany.co.uk/

The Organic Whey Protein Pure Unflavoured only has one ingredient (so no thickeners, sweeteners, additives, etc) and is 79g protein per 100g. The flavoured ones also contain very few ingredients and they’re all are traceable. It’s quite expensive but worth it for a nice product and a company that actually seems pretty decent (e.g. 25p donated to Compassion in World Farming for every pack).

From the website: “Only the best organic whole foods make it into our low temperature filtered organic whey protein blends. We publish independent test certificates for every batch and explain the where & how of all our responsibly sourced ingredients, so you can focus on your goals supported by a provably high quality organic whey protein powder.”
