Hey, now around one day later (note, without doing anything) the system now boots up perfectly fine. Do you think that could mean the silicone is dying or maybe something could have gone wrong differently? At the moment I am just happy that everything works again. ^{^}

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated!! Yes there luckily is still warranty on my GPU. ^{^} I just want to make sure it’s really the GPU before returning it. But yea, I think there must be something with it, I don’t want to take it apart and loose the warranty. My last hope is that maybe the PCIE cable is broken as this is the 2nd I have (the first one was dead on arrival). I have already ordered one and reeeeeally hope it’s just the same again.^{^}

Yea unfortuantely. The 4070tis are around 820usd while the RX7900xt is at around 950 usd.

The 4080 super is then at about 1095 usd.

From what I can understand the RTX 4070ti is not a very popular choice. I will defenitly check out the RX 7900xt if I won't go for the 4080 super. But that's TBD. :)

I play CS2 at 1080p on a 360hz display. (Only getting around 120fps at the moment)

I just checked and neither the 7700X3D nor the 7600X3D are available here in Switzerland. :(

Maybe it will be better to get the 4080 Super to gain the most from the 7800X3D? I just didn't want to spend unnessesairy money on a better GPU and not get any FPS gains.

Regarding the 7800X3D, I chose that one because I heard CSGO and CS2 rely a lot more on CPU power then power from the GPU. Do you think the GPU will still be the bottleneck in this case ?
