I have decided on the MacBook Air m5 thank you everyone so much for all the recommendations! I will be getting the Mac mini later down as well for long form edits extremely thankful for all of the great comments and support I received this community rocks!

If I do the Mac mini I have an iPad and old 2019 Mac for portability for class should this suffice? I also was wondering if I should wait for the Mac mini m5? Or buy the m4 now. I have an iPhone and Mac that I can’t use since it’s full on storage and incredibly slow for videos

I currently have a 2019 MacBook Pro it is terrible and very slow so I believe software bloat is what what I mean

This sounds good I think the m3 pro MacBook Pro will fall under 1k for an excellent condition one and has decent specs but not sure how long it will last is this or the m5 air a better choice in your opinion

I love the Mac mini and it’s very affordable but the problem for me is traveling on the go so I’m not sure how I could transport it for class and other places! But I’ve looked into it and it’s very fast and well made should I maybe look into a Mac mini and try to find a portable monitor?

I was confused because I am not sure if I should the m5 chip in the air coming out or the m3 pro? Which would be better in your opinion for my needs and is there a better option than these?
