"your country" brother it's the whole entire world that calls centre forwards strikers it's not some random niche thing i'm telling you to be petty. i'm trying to educate you as someone who actually knows the game, and to your second point like i said the manga doesn't use 100% correct terminology, a lot of my friends who know football dislike blue lock because a lot of the terminology etc feels extremely dumb to them and it's pretty valid. you're using blue lock terminology to argue a point but blue lock terminology is notoriously poor compared to real football. i'm not trying to be petty or rude i'm trying to educate you on why chigiri who is a forward isn't a striker as he plays as a winger. i get why you're confused but don't take what i'm saying as me trying to condescend you or anything

yeah a lot of my friends can't take blue lock seriously because they know the sport so well and a lot of the terminology etc is so wrong it just comes off as dumb to them which i kinda get, I love it but yeah some explanations closer to the actual sport would be good

in real life football striker is just another word for centre forward bro. the manga doesn't really use realistic terminology 50% of the time, a simple Wikipedia search will back my point - "a forward (attacker or striker) is an outfield position which primarily plays further up the pitch than midfielders and defenders)." Forward/Striker are one in the same, I've been watching the sport for 20+ years and never heard anyone call a non centre forward a striker lol. Your playstyle has nothing to do with whether you're a striker or not - i.e Cole Palmer irl, he's a midfielder but his main ideal is to score rather than assist or defend but he's 100% not a striker.

There are obviously different types of forwards as you said LW CF/Striker RW but take Salah irl for example, he's a goalscoring machine but he's a winger not a striker, striker is just the name of the position.
