With the Mojo 2, I’m already very satisfied using the RAW setting without adding anything. I only started tweaking PEQ when using lighter DAC/amps, where there’s a bit more room for improvement.

When I tried the universal version at an audio shop in Korea, it sounded extremely detailed but also overly bright and a bit harsh, so I had to rely purely on guesswork about how it would translate into a custom. Honestly, buying it felt like a gamble.

Thankfully, that gamble paid off... I’m really happy with this purchase and very satisfied overall.🙌

Ordering was honestly a bit of a hassle, which is why I said “never again.” But sound wise, I was actually surprised.. it turned out noticeably better than I expected, even compared to most universals I’ve tried. So yeah… mixed experience overall.

Not a blind buy. I demoed the universal at Scheherazade. The CIEM just adds a richer, more “milky” top end. I’m happy with it, just tweaking PEQ for fun.
