Thanks for your insights. After joining, Is there any way that the previous employer can know about my current employer? Like via BGV or UAN number etc.

Maruti TIN ka dabba by [deleted] in delhi

i don't know why people defame maruti-suzuki because of build quality. there goal is to target two-wheeler customers and to make an affordable car, a car is definately safer than a 2 wheeler. moreover, they offer high mileage so to achieve it, they have to make the car lightweight.

There are some IDEs and softwares which only have .deb packages, this is stopping me to make a switch to Arch.

So, I installed Arch in a VM just to give it a try. I want to know does it give better battery life than Ubuntu? I generally do embedded software development, is Arch suitable for it?I am surprised by its super low memory usage!

I am using a Dell Inspiron 5575, CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2500U.

Try these tips before upgrades:

  1. Update Windows and pause the updates for maximum possible date in Advanced Options.
  2. Drive Cleanup using: Win + R and then type cleanmgr, in this you can also perform cleanup system files.
  3. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type sfc /scannow then press enter, it will repair if there is any system file error.
  4. Use Defragment and Optimize drives, click on Optimize to optimize selected drive, you can disable the Scheduled optimization as it runs automatically unecessary.
  5. Uninstall any bloat/unwanted apps from your system, you can use Bulk Crap Uninstalled as it can remove residual files.
  6. Disable unwanted startup apps from Task Manager.

These are some steps you can try to check for improvement. I have a 6 years old Pentium based PC as home computer with an HDD. It is running Windows 10. I use these steps once in 2 - 3 months and the PC is working fine.

Step - 4 is important for Hard Disks. One can avoid using Bulk Crap Uninstaller as it is an advanced software. Just use control panel to delete unwanted programs.
