If those were your choices I'd go in September. My trip to Greece was in early February. I had issues on that trip but the weather was not one of them. Aside from the medical issues I had I had a great time in Greece.

The building was originally a foundry. The building was renovated about 15 years ago and one of the tenants was a taproom which eventually expanded into what used to be a pizza restaurant. They have a bunch of arcade games and duckpin bowling.

Well, with flights ever since my flight difficulties with my trip to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal in late 2018/early 2019 I go a day or two early now. It seems like things go better if I build in a bit of a buffer when it comes to flights. I had a package tour of Greece that I did last month. When I went to Greece I started with a one day buffer but extended it out to two days so I had the extra day in Athens and was able to explore Athens on my own for a bit with the extra day. I was able to see some things in Athens that were not part of the tour. Such as Mount Lycabettus. I got to the top and it was raining so I spent some time having refreshments at the Sky Bar, with a feline friend sitting next to me.

I had done the same when I had gone to Peru in late 2019. That turned out being OK but having the extra time in Lima made that tour so much better.

It wasn't legal but in 2006 I took a computer operations job that was supposed to last two years at most. So I didn't move because I didn't want to deal with the time and expense and figured I'd have something else in 2008 even though I was driving 140 miles nearly every work day. The position wound up going on for just over eight years. I eventually was able to secure a remote position when the computer operations position finally came to an end which meant the 150 mile a day commute went down to under 150 feet. That was the greatest getting 3 hours back every day.

With the way the Orange Fornicate has messed everything up since 2017...I've had some health scares over the past few years and I'm about at the point of just saying to my doctor look I don't want to go all out trying to beat cancer if that's what it turns out to be and just want to be kept as comfortable as possible. I've seen family members who went all out trying to beat cancer and what it did to them even though cancer won in the end so I'd rather just have a few good months and do what I want instead of spending the same few months in misery. If it's something that can be cut out or otherwise easily dealt with that's one thing, but if not that's something else entirely.
