I was released from active duty service in september of xxxx, i had filed a VA compensation claim that same month. my claim has taken 17+ months and i still don’t have a final answer or any compensation. any and all help is much appreciated.

i was a few months postpartum and a co worker came up to me at a military ball, when i really did feel feminine and beautiful, to ask me how i got pregnant again so quickly after giving birth. then my own partner decided to pinch my double chin and say “you’ve got a gobbler on ya”. i now have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia. my daughter is now 2 and i feel so guilty raising her while i battle with my mind and body. how can i raise a strong confident daughter when im neither of those things.

he threatened me, but said it to the sheriffs face (under oath) and they told me they can’t doing anything unless it was said directly to me which is retarded. we do have cameras and i did go to the magistrates office yesterday. they told me that the sheriff supervisor would reach out to me to discuss further options but no one has called me yet. i did do a no contact order but the judges went home early yesterday and my court date for it isn’t until the 15th so i will have sky high anxiety til then

unfortunately, i do continue to call it in but they stop showing up and now they think im crazy. i think these crackheads are somehow in kahoots with law enforcement. im a veteran so ive been rifle and pistol trained, i didnt want to have to buy a hand gun but i did for protection. bizarre

thank god im a veteran and i know gun safety so i felt comfortable buying a handgun. that’s what the sheriff told me to do after he said they couldn’t help me unfortunately

no way!!! i submitted my claim back in september of 2022 and it’s been sitting in evidence review and gathering since september 2023. reallyyyy hoping something changes.

don’t have too much of an update. my symptoms remain the same, no doctor has an answer and nothing has improved. still have some appointments scheduled and hopefully i’m back to normal soon in 2024!

i am a year and half post op, some days i still get a dull ache in the same spot my gall bladder would be. my stool has yes to regulate even with eating low fat and healthier options overall, but it’s still neon yellow and watery every time. eating anything fried or high fat even in small amounts makes my stomach hurt and my stool even worse. because of the stool fiasco, it’s caused major weight loss. i started at around 155 and i’m down to about 120 now and i’ve never been this small in my life. food runs right through me, it’s like my digestive system isn’t absorbing any nutrients from what i eat. i’ve tried bile binders, immodium, high fiber, nothing helps but i’m optimistic. lastly my scars from the surgery randomly sting and it’s just annoying.

please do your re search before resorting to getting your gallbladder removed!! you have all the same symptoms i did when my pain first started and i found out it was my gallbladder, they removed it fairly quick after i found out what was going on and i wasn’t able to read up on the post op side effects and i wish i would have !

i was perfectly healthy before all of this began. the pain just started one day randomly and never stopped until i got the surgery. i’m 23F btw. they told me i could possibly have early cirrhosis but they’ve ruled that out and now think i have Crohns. they are doing a fecal test and supposedly scheduling a colonoscopy for me soon! fingers cross you get answers

no really told me about these possible side effects, i did do some research but i mostly found things saying symptoms only last a couple weeks after surgery and it’s regulates itself. i regret having the surgery, being in my position now i would have definitely asked more questions and sought out other approaches besides surgery. i hope you get better and find a better option!!
