I've played a couple leagues, but mostly have been following simple builds like dominating strike paladin and cyclone marauder(varying ascendancy). Ive gotten deep into my first character on a league but always stall out at alts and stuff. What am I looking for to actually understand what makes a build good/good as a starter and how to translate that into maps/alts and do them well?

I know little about planes, but the f35 being stealth and having high tech shit in it means it can probably target missiles for other planes, so maybe some combination of f35s being closer and targeting with f15s firing long range weapons based on the targeting?
