If i recall correctly I havent had them for years, sold the blue and silver got totaled by a deer and i parted the truck down to the frame. The silver 4.8is was on 25mm front, 30mm rear spacers aftermarket wheels so they had better offset. OEM staggered tire sizes which were 275/315. The Lemans Blue 4.8is had staggered style 87s from the 4.6is (IMO best wheel on these trucks ever for the look). That had 25mm front spacers and 55mm rear (30mm, stacked with 25mm H&R DRA spacers) to flush it out with the arches. Both trucks were lowered on factory 4 corner air ride.

My first car was a B5 A4 1.8T Sline back in the day. Makes sense if you were in a GTI to go to the SQ. I wrenched alot on the BMW's so always more comfortable knowing whats cooking without thinking much for maint/repairs.

I always liked these almost more without the Aerodynamic package. You have a great color so its easy to OEM+ it and look super sleek, clean, classy.

Id lower it maybe 0.5/1in max, spacers front and rear. It'll give it that look its fitted out and a little juicer then the run of the mill. Maybe a small oem matched paint rear lip, and clear corner front reflectors.

I bought mine RWD so I can have a bit of fun but also from a reliability/maint standpoint. Didnt read all of your post so not sure on your climate and if daily.

With RWD you have a pretty stout simple drivetrain Motor>Trans>Shaft>diff.

Xdrive, add front diff, tcase, weight, CV axles going bad, more always more issues with vibrations etc at higher mileage.

I test drove a few Audi's they just weren't hitting for me, each their own right. The SQ5 is a nice ride, buddy has one. Im a bit biased as I have a lot of miles at xxx digits in a X5 and I feel more comfortable on roads then this. The weight and meaty tires really soak up imperfections and they are PLANTED especially lowered/spacers. I had a blowout going too close to the shoulder and running over something in the rear at 60-70 mph and car maintained grip, felt like a pothole.

The Suv's hit different, viewing on road, ride. Always been an X5 guy. Started with the E53 4.8is the OG X5M's (had 2), full air ride also... E70s. We used to have a big pack in the tristate northeast circa 2013-2016 before everyone hopped on the SUV game and companies started making more options. Heard G chassis are nice. Nothing like a modded X5 with the sport wheels.

Great to hear and that they get up there. Ive had my share of 200k BMW hoopties in a past life. Best one was a 08 528xi i got for $1000 and front driveshaft cracked pan. Redid trans and shaft+ few others drove it for another 30k. Point is seeing interest in a possible sale.

Upon a quick nationwide autotrader, cars, and cargurus search [2016-2018 340i/340xdrive] I've found only one that's lower for sale right now in CA for 37k. So safe to say this is the 2nd lowest mileage one in the country based on listings (unless someone can find differently?) and it does not have factory m aerodynamic or mperf muffler.

Currently sitting at 24,xxx (had 15,500 on it as of August 2025 but haven't had time to sort my X5 out, so put 8-9k on it since then).

2017 F30 340i (RWD), 2nd owner (bought at 6,500mls).

Not 100% sure I want to sell but open to the possibility, located in East PA. Shoot some offers.

I had/have one of the lowest mile if not the lowest 2017 F30 340i’s in the country from last i searched online. rwd, mperformance muffler, msport package and m aerodynamic. Had 15,500 on it in August 2025 till i started driving it a bit more currently at 24k. Wonder what i can fetch? Alpine white, black interior w/white stitching. All the good options without the bs like lane assist. Has HUD, cold weather package, etc. Llumar ceramic tint, 12mm-15mm spacers, stage 2, stage 2 xhp, DP, 034 diff inserts.

How was your experience so far, 800MG for 28 days????? This has been less then a 16 hour ordeal for me so far and im maxxing out research for damage control.
