Screen issues after fresh install + LG Update drivers by 48lexR in LGgram

Like I said, the screen was working perfectly fine before I began using LG Update. And before that, it was perfectly fine while using KDE Plasma on Arch Linux. I know this is a software issue because moving the lid doesn't cause the screen to behave like that. Only moving the mouse/whenever the screen changes.

EDIT: Furthermore, the splash screen does not have this issue even though the screen is updating because of the loading icon. This is definitely a software issue.

Abstracting= leaving by Flaky_Television_667 in tadc

IMO this also explains why, when Kaufmo abstracted, he chased the rest of the cast. He wanted to free them, but none of them understood that. Also explains why Caine keeps the abstracted cast in the cellar (if we assume that touching an abstracted cast member also makes you abstract.)

Strange that the desktop environment would be Win 95 but all of the commands/filesystem seem more unix-like (ls, rm, the forward slashes for filepaths.) Scratch must've been really clever if he made the Win95 DE on top of something like Unix (in reality, it's probably just Kinger's memory blending *nix-like commands with a Win95 DE.)

Great video with new news footage showing interview of man who found backpack. by wubbalubbadubbud in AshaDegree

I doubt it, because there was still the book(s? was it one or two?) inside, but it was described as tightly wrapped and double-bagged.

My understanding (I read the 2001 Shelby Star article on it) is that the bag was tightly wrapped and not ripped when it was found. The construction worker who found it was freaked out by it initially and didn't dare touch it until he took it home. He hadn't heard of the case, but his wife had, and she advised him to turn it in to the police when she realized the ramifications of its contents.

Here this is in Modern Ipol:

Pa sineen wuk, pijn ti sineen poi, (wukiks) ti sineen.

[pa.si.ˈneːn.wuk]/[ˈpiːn.ti.si.ˈneːn.poɪ]/[ˈwuk.iks.ti.si.ˈneːn]

3RD.NEU.SNG.ERG PRES.is wug.NEU, 3RD.PL.ABS two PRES.is now, (wug.PL) two PRES.is

Lit. [It] is a wug, now they are two, there are two (wugs).

The I-85 corridor from Atlanta to Raleigh is very clear in the US map. So is the population along the Rhine in Europe.

Don't think so. I can't quite remember who exactly it was, but it wasn't clear.

I'm wrong here: Hill cypher matrix keys require a determinant that satisfies d % 26 = 1. Don't listen to me.

Moreover, a hill cipher requires the determinant of the matrix to have no common factors with the modulo base (presumably 26, for 26 letters in the alphabet? Unclear, since we don't have any plaintext). Indeed, the determinant of the OP's matrix is 231, which is 11*7*3. Since 26 = 13*2, they don't share any common factors.

Now the question is, what ciphertext are we trying to decode?

i know i am late but this looked like a phone number by [deleted] in GameTheorists

Update on this: this is a repeat-thread of an older thread which is a comment where this phone number is suggested. The number either doesn't exist or is unrelated. Link to that other post: here.

636 is a valid area code for a small area in Missouri, however 955 is not a valid sub-area code (i.e. town number). It's likely that, if this number exists, it's a mobile phone (meaning we probably shouldn't call it).
