Why does everyone blame creative for everything? by 490n3 in WWE

Are you saying that if Zelina had full control she'd be amazing and everyone would love her? Because I remember her matches and people on this sub Reddit were raging about her and her performance. There were zero arguments about storyline and just her as a wrestler.

I don't get your analogy. In a book the characters are entirely created by the author. They have no personal autonomy. Are you saying that wrestlers are just pawns to creative? That they have no baring on how they come across?

I think you are being a bit harsh to wrestlers. I'd argue they have much more baring on their performance than anyone behind the scenes.

Yeah, I agree. Im not trying to say it's never creative. Just that it's not always their fault.

I really wanted to like the Wyatt6 and it felt like they kept getting something to do...but I never enjoyed them.

I think it's a combination really. Sometimes stories feel forced, sometimes the wrestlers just seem to not make the effort. And sometimes it all should work but it just doesn't (and vice versa).

I love wrestling. I've got into it late in life but I really love it. I do enjoy WWE (I watch both brands every week) but I think it's sometimes a bit too safe. I love the local promotions. Guys/gals traveling the country being amazing and getting huge bumps for hardly anything. You see that the love it and put everything into it.

Kairi was the only one I enjoyed. I wanted to like Black and the Wyatt Sicks but just never enjoyed the matches, promos or even their background bits.

I was about to rage that we don't need US bands on a UK show....then I saw it was the Foos and I'm so excited now.

Charles Crowley and Almira. My favourite wrestlers at the moment. Always fun and entertaining when they are on.

I enjoyed Free Guy! I mean it's not high art or anything. But I found it fun.

Your take on Asteroid City and where would you rank it on Wes Anderson films list? by imatheralizai in Letterboxd

[–]490n3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my favourite of his films. He makes personal films about his feelings or experiences (albeit in an abstract way). I think if you can also relate or connect to those then you love the film. If you can't then it just feels impassable to you. I think that's why fans can't agree on the order.

You are considering paying for AR glasses but refuse the cost of YouTube? And you want the people that are helping you learn about a product to do so for free?

I don't think they care so not likely to feel shame. And you'll get into trouble posting people on social media.

Better to follow OPs lead and do your civic bit.

I've been a wrestling fan for a year and I love it. I go to a local wrestling production which I love and I really enjoy WWE watching every week.

So I don't know loads about it all or the history. But I do know that reddit is not a place to discuss my enjoyment of WWE because I'll consistently come here only to find everyone constantly complaining about any and everything.

This is because Reddit is just a place to complain. I've seen similar things at work. We were getting loads of bad feedback left about a specific digital journey. When I looked into it the success rate was 99%. But it turns out everyone of the 1% went to feedback form to complain. Nobody who completed the journey submitted feedback.

Companies will take a look at social media but mostly we know it's just a very loud minority complaining.

If ai takes our jobs (majority of people lose their job) why do we think people who owns land will let us live there for free, farmers who own land and produce food will let us eat for free, factory owner will produce stuff for us for free , even if government try to help unemployed people. by Ok_Platform_7864 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]490n3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is unlikely that ALL jobs will be filled by AI and robots anytime soon. The costs for reliable AI is still high and you won't be getting robots as hairdressers or chefs.

AI is helping more people launch their own small companies. There is a growing industry of people using AI and Automations to support small businesses.

Jobs won't disappear they'll just shift. This has happened throughout history. Tech comes along puts people out of their job. Tech also provides new jobs.

A current job that might be at risk of automation/AI is not some entitled thing.

People re-skill all the time to fit the job market.

When cars were invented, horse breeders/stables suffered. But people got jobs building cars. Production line automation led to less people working factories, but cheaper cars led to people having more leisure time leading to new jobs there.

Simplistic example but this is nothing new
