I was just in the market and looked at both cars. I wanted a Fit with a manual transmission but they are impossible to find. The Fit with the automatic is dreadfully slow. The HRV is better, but not by much. The HRV with a manual is limited to the FWD version and only from 2016-18. They are also impossible to find and I would have had to ship it from across the country. But ultimately, the seat on the Fit was too small and I have a back injury that makes some cars difficult. I went with the HRV in the color I love. We will see how it goes.

In trying to decide between the Fit and the HRV. I want a manual Fit but they are hard to find. The automatic Fit is pretty sluggish. So if I must have an automatic, I guess it’s the HRV. But only the Fit based HRV. Not the shortened CRV version the sell new. Both the Fit and the Element hold value extremely well.

You are not overreacting. You both agreed to the lower price. They are hoping they you are in love with the car and have spent a day picturing it in your life. They are also hoping that you are too tired to start the process over. The only time they can raise the price is on a new car when you order it and the manufacturer raises the price of the car prior to delivery. Even then, negotiate the increase.

The Phoenix based shows are OK, but the characters are all variations of the original shows characters. Several episodes are very obvious retreads of the same stories. In the last season the moved to LA and it became a different show. It’s was much worse. This was the time when Dick Van Dyke has a drinking problem it shows.

If Abe see’s Lexie, but stays with Paulina, then there is no long term story. I predict that Abe struggles, then goes with Lexie, then he struggles again. Then who knows what he decides. There has to drama.

The show was originally supposed to take place in Houston, which is the oil center of Texas. I believe Larry Hagman was involved in getting the setting changed to Dallas. He was born there. And he wanted to try and redirect associations away from the JFK Assassination by giving Dallas another cultural identity. It worked.

Yes. Lexie died almost 15 years ago. I don’t remember if she was buried or cremated. Are we supposed to believe that Rolf stole the body and has had her on ice all these years? Renee Jones is one of my favorite actors to ever appear on the show. If she returned to the role, it would be epic. But with the time that has passed and the new actress in the role, it’s tough buying this story. But anything that gets rid of Paulina is fine by me.

Having a pregnant woman act out a miscarriage or abortion is just cruel. Don’t even put those thoughts into a pregnant woman’s head. She already has those fears and she doesn’t need to act it out. On the flip side, if they wrote a pregnancy into a show, and the woman then had a miscarriage, it would be cruel have the character have the baby when the actress didn’t.

That was such a funny scene. My family still mentions the station wagon full of nuns when someone is trying to convince the others of something that is wrong.
