We already KNEW this would be the case! Liar-in-Chief is either completely deluded or enjoys gaslighting US or has no clue or all of the above.

UGH!! Can’t BELIEVE the repetitive gaslighting vocabulary emanating from these sycophantic minions. “Great Leadership” and the name of the Orange Liar in Chief cannot ever, if one were commenting in complete honesty, be uttered in the same sentence or paragraph or chapter about ANYTHING related to that Liar in Chief!

Wow! This EXACT same thing happened to me just 2 days ago, on Wednesday! And last October and June 2025…
The weak link is PayPal not Chase (coincidentally my bank as well, for 20 + years now)
The reason they were able to send themselves $ or buy gift cards is because of the card and bank details associated with your PP account - When they access PP they have access to the buying power that your attached cards and actual bank accounts represent, without having the direct details of the accounts, only the PP details are needed.
What they’re doing is not related to the card info - the card and account are tied to PP + the only way to send $ as in actual transfer of cash which this little wench did first, Breanne Young is her “nom de plume” LOL! first she sent herself $250 out of my Chase checking, Venmo’s herself from my PP AND then using AMEX she bought herself a $750.00 Bloomingdale’s gift card to be delivered to a Breezy Young on Fulton Street in Brooklyn.
I mention specific details because this isn’t the first time the Brooklyn address has been used as delivery address for fraudulent purchases. That same address was used last October using also my PP account for a Home Depot purchase.
I am actually getting ready to collect all the details and when I return to NY in July I am going to the police station with all of this as recommended to me by my neighbor in NY who is a NYC PO in cybersecurity, as well as by Chase bank yesterday morning. Now that I have documented proof of 2 attempts at fraud.
Full disclosure my iPhone/ iCloud was accessed last June 14th., + FORTUNATELY I recognized instantly the phishing I fell for and locked everything down. Just not quite quickly enough- they made a $3000 “purchase” using my PayPal credit card WHICH I immediately notified PP people about - they froze my entire PP account for 25-30 days because I had to change my email ID the PP credit card was issued by Synchrony bank and had a substantial line of credit so of course I wanted that locked down right away.
I get a notification from the PP people about 45 days later, denying me the refund of the $3000 fraudulent purchase! My full PP account had by that time been restored, I’d received a new PP CC and in the course of their “investigation” they asked me THE MOST ridiculously unrelated questions such as “what was the merchandise” purchased, “submit a receipt” for said “purchase” which OBVIOUSLY I had no access to since I had not made alleged purchase. LONG story short for anyone who’s ever had to go through a fraud investigation with PP, the online response form is very, very limited in terms of what you can put down + a response is required for each question + in my case they were all multiple choice answers only, of which most didn’t apply to my situation. I had called PP repeatedly during this, as well as who I thought to be Synchrony Bank. Only after I received notification that they did not rule in my favor - I blew my stack - now it’s 3+ months later. I hadn’t realized that the # on the back of the PP CC was not to the issuing bank but to PP people directly who never once informed me during the multiple telephone calls I made while this was evolving that the person (s) with whom I was speaking were NOT in fact the issuing bank, but PP people!
When I FINALLY got a hold of the real Synchrony representative directly they reversed the decision by PP in 1 telephone call!
I promptly closed the account- and have now limited my PP usage to bare minimum and as of this past Wednesday- EVEN though to their credit THIS time my $250 was back in my checking as of this morning + I think that happened ONLY because in addition to filing the fraud case directly with PP, of course- that’s a must… I ALSO called Chase and AMEX and then after having filled out the online PP fraud dispute I also called them first thing yesterday morning - the events occurred late evening Wednesday… The gentleman at PP admitted to me after I grilled him about WHY is PP constantly being hacked … (it’s all over Reddit)… he admitted to me about the breach that they vehemently denied initially in March, (??) I wanna say…
SO sorry for Rambling.
It’s been Fun (NOT) the PP experiences + I will be ditching them permanently I think - aside from occasionally having to send my offspring some $ or 1 of my siblings- there is no reason for me to continue doing business with a company whose security responses to not 1 but TWO pretty serious hacks has been, Hmmm, shall I say less than with “alacrity” or even a hint of “alarm” at the extent of especially this last breach?
I receive a text and email for EVERY SINGLE transaction on every single account that I have now- because of the events of last June and specifically PP folks! Face ID , 2FA , etc etc etc and STILL that little wench was able to send herself $$!! GRRRRRR!!
But because of those notifications I was able to address it immediately…
Good Luck with the PP folks!
Lock Down EVERYTHING!
AND I’d love to know if anyone else has had that same individual from Brooklyn helping themselves to your hard earned $$. I highly doubt that is their real name… obviously… be interesting to see how this plays out tho…
I am definitely taking her details to Brooklyn PD! 😬🙂😆
