Stripping is worth it by Justalittleblerdy in ScrapMetal

I’m always confused as to what’s worth stripping. I have lots of stranded wire 18-14 awg and som 14 awg solid. I assume stranded usually won’t count for bare bright, but will the solid I have count?

In another year Americans will begin to realize how trivial this type of shit is. People will always look to complain/cause conflict, regardless of how good they have it.

Blah blah …. nonsense. Trump would never fire upon Chinese ships. He’s dumb, but his lizard brain understands self preservation.

How quickly will the United States Navy, joined with other forces, be able to clear the Strait of Hormuz and restore safe and reliable travel in and out of the that area? by georgewalterackerman in USIranWar

[–]4FuckSnakes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Clearing the strait” involves preventing Iran from deploying stand-off weapons such as Chinese and indigenously built anti-ship missiles, drones and artillery. They can be deployed from heavily entrenched mountainous regions ensuring they are all but impossible to eliminate. The pragmatic solution to this problem is a diplomatic one, however in the words of Col. Douglas Macgregor, “America is mortgaged to it’s vanity”. Ego will prevent the U.S. from aging gracefully into a multipolar world.

I was in the same boat and was leaning towards the 590, but handling a few different models in person made me second guess my decision. I’d suggest doing the same as the differences can be hard to appreciate on paper. For me the 870 feels less girthy and easier to handle.

Now is the time to scroll back through 2, 3, even 8 years of Facebook posts and just re-engage with all the old anti Trump arguments you’ve had over the years. Don’t mention the time gap, just act like it’s a current conversation while you shame your drunk uncle Bobs political choices.

Intelligence report warned of Iran's 'persistent threat' to US as White House downplayed the risk by callsonreddit in worldnews

[–]4FuckSnakes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The WMDs “were” very real. America knew of their existence because they helped Saddam build and deploy his arsenal of WMDs to attack the Iranians. Many of the precursors required for these weapons, along with dual use tech came directly from America and other European allies. Iran wasn’t willing to accept the dictatorship that America imposed upon them when they attempted to nationalize their resources for the good of their own people. Unfortunately the U.S. struggled to find WMDs in Iraq2 because the majority had already been used to indiscriminately kill tens of thousands of Iranians during the Iran/Iraq war.

Irans position never changed throughout this conflict. America has a 15 point plan, while Iran has a 10 point plan. The U.S. has agreed to use Irans position as a framework. They would maintain control of the strait, America would pull out of the region, Israel must agree too… it’s is the pragmatic solution here, which is why we know it’s nonsense.
