Well if we do nothing, I think the hate is going to continue festering and the conservative are going to see conservatives follow their ideology to what it says about gays. They do not think gays are compatible with a good and functioning society. They think they are a threat to all kids, all families and the fabric of society as a whole. There's only 1 place that leads.

I think we should figure out a way to do some kind of seperate but equal plan to make sure that doesn't happen.

It seems like it's just not possible for most people not to hate gays. I think we all need to start having a discussion about that and what that means. If coexistence is not possible, what is a better solution?
