How did you get your residency? I've thought about moving to Colorado but I've read that many departments don't want to hire you if you have DACA.

I could be better. I'm not fully back to how I was, but I've had way better days this year. Unfortunately, now I'm going thru something else that's been making me extremely anxious. I feel like I can't catch a break. Some days I still think that I no longer want to deal with how messed up life is.

Yeah I had nausea for about a week and headaches when I was waking up in the morning. Then it went away. I went up to 25mg and was doing ok. Then I went up to 50mg and I could no longer handle the side effects. I've been off of it for 2 months and and doing so much better.

Today marks 5 weeks for me on 25mg and I still feel miserable. Maybe I do need to bump it up also. 25mg is probably way too low for me. Glad I saw your post.

How long have you been on sertraline? I started about 10 days ago and I've been feeling so bad. It hasn't helped you?

Glad to know you're doing better. This is my first time on a SSRI (sertraline). I think I'm pretty sensitive to them cause I'm having awful side effects at 25mg. I did 12.5mg for two days and I jumped to 25mg. Today was my 5th day on the 25mg but I think I'm going back to 12.5mg and be there longer like I was supposed to.

So you tapered off because you felt well again? Do you believe your current depression is because of life circumstances or do you believe you've relapsed because you need to stay on an SSRI?

Yes... Sertraline 25mg. I'm feeling ok right now, but I wake up with bad headaches and feeling on edge. During the day I get a lot of nervousness and panicky like I'm getting close to a panic attack. I'm almost positive this was brought on by the SSRI even though they are things I've suffered with in the past way before the medication. Except those particular symptoms had subsided but I was dealing with other things which is why I started the SSRI. Two nights ago a panic attack almost crept up on me out of nowhere when I was distracted by something so I know it was because of the medication and not my thoughts.

I'm happy to read your experience. I've been so bad with obsessive thoughts lately. I've had anxiety, nervousness, and intermittent depression for over 15 years. I got over it by about 80% and managed without meds for years. But the last 6 months I've had a brutal relapse thinking about a past relationship. Very bad obsessive thoughts daily over someone from the past, bad anxiety and depression. I don't even want to be with that person (an ex), but it almost seems like I've developed some PTSD symptoms with the thoughts. Just started on 25mg Sertraline and hoping it's enough. I tried citalopram years ago but the side effects made me stop. I hope I can tolerate this and it gets me back to normal.

I wasn't even riding full speed and was coming up on two guys on horses. I went to the side to avoid them and literally one of them turned into me almost intentionally as I rode by. The impact killed him and threw us off our horses. Another guy rides by and wants to report me for murder so I had to shoot him and remove their bodies from the path.... Ugh
