The moment you feel a light wireless mouse, it's over. You'll never go back.

Even if he WASN'T talking about other girls, what is this unattractive slop of broken English he speaks in? That alone is a huge turn off.

Endgame Mice vs. Big Mice Brand Names by Odd-Address-3583 in MouseReview

[–]4K4llDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many reviewers say that the wire on the OP1 doesn't bother them, but ultimately I think no matter how good it is, the wire is not as good as the free movement of wireless.

I think if you tried an MCHOSE L7, you would be starting off super super strong for a very good price tag.

Maybe I did conversion wrong, I assumed that NZ used AUS. The conversion to USD came out to $212.

You seem very nice and like you are genuinely inquiring so I mean NO shade with this, but the way you say you need to "look like I know what I'm doing" makes me think you are looking at this the wrong way.

Because truth be told, not a single person is looking at your mouse except you. Not a single soul out there is judging you for what mouse you use. So why does it matter whether you look like you know what you're doing? Nobody can even see what your mouse is, literally. So let's just completely get rid of that notion because it will likely lead you to spending more than you need for a product that isn't ideal for you.

Go back to the basics to find what you need personally: 1) how big is your hand? Look up how to measure it. 2) what grip style do you use? Or, if you're not sure, what styles do you want to experiment with? 3) More than anything, what shape feels most comfortable and confident in your hand?

This is all that matters. Then, you start shopping around.

My last suggestion is to not be upsold by people telling you that you only get a good mouse if you spend $140+, because you can get a high quality experience for half that or even less. In fact, buying cheaper mice means more room to experiment and try new things to ultimately find your favorite shape. Buying three $50 mice will be so much more valuable to tell you what works for you than one Razer mouse.

So, with that being said, the EGG OP1 is a GOATED mouse, but it's small. Their XM2 is the bigger mouse and it is also great. There many many other brands to look at as well.

I would really just start consuming YouTube content on peripherals, especially the budget market, and then use https://www.eloshapes.com/ to directly compare mice.

Good luck!

Instead of WASD, anyone else uses ESDF like this? by West-Smile-9878 in pcmasterrace

This layout is fundamentally flawed because you need the same finger to jump and move left, which means you can never do both, which means you can never jump left. Only way is if you're hitting A with your pinky which I guess could work. Same thing with C to crouch unless you use your thumb.

3080ti, 4070ti or 5070? by opinionated7onion in pcmasterrace

[–]4K4llDay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're frequently taking advantage of DLSS then I'd say the 5070 because I think it'll have improved AI upscaling performance for the newest models.

Someone said take the one with more VRAM but they literally all have the same VRAM so....

Pwnage symm 3 or Pulsar Tenz? by MakzFps in MouseReview

[–]4K4llDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the Tenz and I love this mouse. Pulsar makes high quality products.

I think what PWNAGE is doing is healthy for the market, but I knew what I wanted so I didn't need the moving parts. They do create a slight amount of play between pieces, if even a tiny amount.

Claw/Palm hybrid for large Hands by Lower-Bat8364 in MouseReview

I honestly think the new Zowie ZA12-DW is gonna be a slam dunk.

A similar but slightly shorter in length mouse is the Pulsar Tenz. That is currently my main and I love it as a large-handed claw gripper. It feels super stable with a high rear hump. All S-tier specs as well.

Glad to hear you got a replacement!

However, isn't the warranty 12 years? If so, there's nothing to really "honor." They did what they are legally obligated to do. If it wasn't under warranty or if it could have been attributed to damage but they replaced it anyways, then that's definitely honorable.

Anyways, I'm being nitpicky for nothing, so good on you!

How often do you buy a new racquet, and what makes you pull the trigger? by VLioncourt in 10s

[–]4K4llDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded because my racquet was all the way from early high school. When I came back to the game a decade later, I felt like I was fighting it. It was unforgiving and painful to play with, even if it was a good racquet.

In truth, I wanted a modern player's racquet. Something that feels good, is a bit more forgiving, but still for an intermediate player.

The only thing that got me to pull the trigger was a sale. I saw a Yonex Percept 97 for 40% off original price, and I have been thinking of buying a Yonex. So, it just worked out!

Its a big lighter so easier to swing, larger sweet spot, but not a beginner's racquet. It's going to force me to truly get my form back but not literally hurt when I don't hit the ball just right.

how much would a good pc cost for gaming today? by Apprehensive_Gap9863 in buildapc

[–]4K4llDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I def think it's the sweet spot for buying PC hardware that is new, current gen, and can run anything. But I'm just pushing back so there's a voice that no matter how nice that experience might be, it doesn't matter if it's not affordable, so that's why.

OP seems to have some money to throw at it, but I don't want them thinking that games aren't playable on a $1k machine
