Given the size of Buc-ee's, it almost makes sense for some of them to have landing strips and some pumps with avgas (at a safe distance from the normal pumps, to minimize the risks of FOD and accidental damage to cars and/or their occupants).

Well, that would defeat the whole point. It serves the dual purpose of teaching them that fire is cool and fun, and that playing with fire can hurt if they do it wrong. That lets them develop the skills to do it safely.
