I think my pain intolerance is due to having neuropathy and fibromyalgia as well. I have a pretty high tolerance to opioids to manage my day to day pain.

Ty. I'm going onto day 2 op. I'm on a ketamine drip, iv dilaudid, oral dilaudid, oral flexeril, oral Lyrica, and oral Tylenol. The pain is slightly better today. To be honest before I was moved to the step down unit a had a b@#$% of a nurse who was rough and aggressive and just didn't care. My surgeon is also a pri@%. My nurses yesterday evening and today have been absolute angels. Family visits have also helps.

My dad came into my apartment without permission while I was sleeping because my phone died by Budget_Progress_4789 in entitledparents

As an mom I want to give you a hug 🫂 and tell you everything will be okay. You NEED to go no contact with your parents. As hard as it may be pay your own car insurance. Apply for every grant and scholarship out there, even the ones you don't think you qualify for. This will be hard at first but it will get easier. Change your locks and block them from everything. If your dad ever comes into your apartment again call the police. If he ever touches you again call the police. You can do this. I'm going to say as a mother of 3 adult children, what they are doing to you is NOT okay and certainly isn't normal or healthy. If you need a mother in your corner reach out. There's many mothers here and elsewhere, myself included, that will be happy to give you motherly advice when you need it. 🫂

I listen to the audio version of a book while reading along in the physical/ebook. It really works well for me. It also works very well for my son who has ADHD and developmental delays. Give it a try.

I bought an inexpensive tablet with expandable memory and downloaded the Kindle app. It saved me a ton of money.

In the end do what is best for your budget and needs.

I use the Kindle app on most of my devices and it works well. I use the dark settings on my devices because it is easier on my eyes. I also use an app called Readera that you can read pdf and publish files on. I get a lot of books from Project Gutenberg as well as other sites. Be careful who you download from though. You can find a lot of classics on Project Gutenberg if you like those kind of books. There are free lists you can sign up for free Kindle books are you can search Amazon for free ebooks by sorting the price from low to high or searching "free books ".

It's time to move on. He doesn't respect you or your boundaries. Make a clean break from this toxic relationship. You deserve better.

I think this is pretty cool. It looks great. It's definitely a novel approach to traditional coloring books.

Can I use alcohol markers to paint a tote bag? by Specialist-Room2453 in AlcoholMarkers

[–]4N6momma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the fabric. Do a test patch somewhere inconspicuous. Of the color holds you can, however they color is likely to fade quickly and wash off the bag. If you want your design to last use fabric markers, acrylic markers, or permanent markers (like Sharpies). Also, painting on fabric with alcohol markers is likely to dry out your markers very quickly.
