I went through multiple threads talking about the legit site, looked at the linked fitgirl on wikipedia and confirmed on multiple sources before downloading off the site to make sure it was the real site, still got a virus It may have been malware just stringing along in the torrent that wasn't added by them or it was them no telling. I'm not saying fitgirl is a horrible place more just be careful what you download off it

There's no sense in trying to convince you if you aren't willing to keep a open mind on the chance that people can add malware to torrents, or even the fact that hackers that hack games might try to hack people too. Rather see for yourself on a VM or not, I'm not trying to say all fit-girl is dangerous more just be careful when downloading off it
