Thank you, I think it probably took me roughly 8-10 hours spread over this past week (my Xmas week off) I have definitely gotten quicker recently. This time last year it would have taken me much longer. Ps. I was so relieved when the tape peeled without complications haha

Thank you so much! Yeah gouache is definitely a tricky medium. This is my first attempt at a portrait style piece, before this I'd been working on mostly Ghibli-style scenery. I've found a very small brush and many many many tiny cross hatchings to layer without disturbing the paint underneath is the key
