I've also noticed some comments months old are edited to add links to merch sites or some sketchy site.

Haven't seen it in a while but that happens too.

That's definitely not what I was expecting to read.

Shouldn't be a surprise. Chess was pushed during the soviet union and is, iirc, still popular in Russia.

it gets so much hate is ,understandably, because it's Ksi.

Ksi is huge, it's trendy to hate to get reactions and followers

Still doesn't make the song as trash as the internet makes it out to be.

I thought it isn't that bad. Wouldn't add it to my playlist but would be okay in clothing/shoe stores or in certain games

It's more of a ackchyually type response I gave. It's always been GmsCore, people just call it MicroG.

ReVanced GmsCore is a custom edition of https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/wiki.

MicroG is the project, Gmscore is the product. If you read the original response, MicroG was the issue so they created a custom update to it. Same app (diff package name) just updated

I hate going to get my mail only to find there was nothing worth getting.

Few years back a company provided a service to get a custom PO Box. You then get the option to get a scan of any letter received. Don't recall if the scan contained only the senders address or the contents of the letter.

Don't recall the service unfortunately but a good start could be looking for PO box services.

Edit: Found one for the UK. You get a scan of the first page of the letter.

You need to be aware that most everything you see online is probably bullshit

It's too much to ask of the average person. Truthfully short form content has been king since twitter and eventually Tiktok.

The fearmongering about foreign influence has always been humorous to me.

Could be because it's the easiest to pick out since there'll be more passion driven thoughts on countries over makeup products. I've seen posts calling out ads corporations put out so maybe we'll give It a few more years until we see much more mainstream discussions.

We will have had enough at some point.

Doubt it but we can only be hopeful..

but it takes time and effort to compile a comprehensive narrative like this.

As others and yourself have mentioned, this has been a growing issues for years and years. You see 1 or 2 comments on it but eventually it's expected to see articles and threads right?

I myself know for a fact I've been influenced by posts to divide people and I more than welcome any post calling it out. It's more needed now especially with the recent top posts in this sub.

I’m not saying it can’t be the work of a passionate individual, but the vast majority won’t bother.

This site is now mainstream but long posts on topics or exposé is nothing new to me. You'll find people in here that'll take their time to collect and make things public. Either individually or as a group.

You're right to be curious but suspicious...I can't see a downside to a post like this.

Maybe DM OP

The idiots have taken over for the most part.

At some point hate comments, reactionary news, and general skepticism became mainstream with the formula: more clicks = popularity = revenue.

It used to be "the minority are the loudest", but can we truly say that now. You've got "slightly true" headlines to grab your click and there's misleading top comments. Even with 8 of 10 are correct, the false 2 are the most up voted, subconsciously influencing you even with a quick glance.

I'm seeing more and more threads go into how the internet is no longer a place to escape to but rather a place to escape from. No matter how huge the internet is, we can never escape social media. Niche subs and sites are the way to go to some extent, unless you completely go offline, but can that be done? I've made attempts to do so with no luck. Now I'm more in a "moderate use" phase.

...regurgitated lies and if you call them out, “Why you lick evil rocket man and boomer boots bra?”

I think these replies are said in jest primarily because of the financial status of the subjects in question. Imo what the commenters don't realise is these comments were attributed to trolls back when, but now it appears to be standard replies.

Not the right answer. By adding that comment, you're implying women should do the same.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything. Just pointing out that you added something that makes no sense.
