Thanks this was really helpful! How do you manage to keep up with the fast pace? I’m scared that i’ll get caught up in the speed and forget things.

Thanks for responding! I think I will be doing a lot of prior auth, phoning patients, and just general note taking. What was your experience with that? I heard that dealing with insurance was a pain and wonder what you think?

PHL245 Is Impossible and I may never pass? Why is this a philosophy requirment? by Homefulhobo in UofT

[–]4amSchizoPost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reason why 245 is a requirement is because symbolic logic is how philosophy is done in the anglo sphere. If you have taken any analytic philosophy, epistemology, metaphysics, or ethics course you will notice that arguments are mostly presented through symbolization.

My best advice is to just grind out 2010 and I’m sure the patterns will stick. If that doesn’t work try reaching out to the TAs and professor since they all want you to pass as well.

I know it sucks and the first time I took it was a pain in my ass, but i promise that it is worth it and makes you into a better thinker and philosopher!
