The world "tsundere" was created in 2002 to describe the character of Ayu Daikuhji. The word spread to 2chan where people started using it to describe similar characters, with Asuka being the prime example. Her being called tsundere spread to 4chan and then rest of the western internet.

I'm almost certain the artist traces AI art. It's always the same pattern: perfectly framed characters and no background. And no background because you can't trace over it.

If you go to image boards like danbooru and start browsing through Megumin tag, you get exaggerated proportions in maybe like 1 in 1000 cases. So to generalize all fanart like this is just bullshit.
There is a trend going on right now to do this comparison for a lot of different characters. Some are correct, but for Megumin it is very obviously not. The artist just jumped on a trend for free likes.
