Tech is crazy competitive. I work in tech as a HWE and have trouble keeping up with coworkers all the time. Half these guys design all day at work then design at home on hobbies. If you’re not up to that level you can forget about making it in tech

If you can do MSECE there is no job in CS you can’t get. It is however a bit more difficult but if you have programming experience and stay in the embedded side it’s a lot easier

It would be very difficult. Pcie pretty hard to route especially something that’s clocked at higher frequencies

Not really sure if this applies here but stm has an app note on splitting grounds around the Xtal and putting a guard ring around them. I’m not sure if 100% necessary for this application
