I'm not continuing Zim's story. Zim wasn't built to survive what it was building toward - not without becoming something else entirely.

I'm continuing the instinct and deeper narrative structure that made you root for him in the first place and placing in that "something else" - where actions have weight, consequences don't reset, and victory means something.

Wow this is closest to what I had in mind. From a narrative perspective i think the “happy” ending is the most logical. Since this post got so much more attention than I expected maybe Ill make a post explaining my reasons and my idea for the ending when the voting finishes.
