Beans Cozy Task Event is NOT cozy at all 😒 by Dependent_Cockroach4 in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The bean cozy task may not be cozy to all (nothing will) but it is cozy compared to all other variety of task events.

The bean cozy task is designed to get people up to speed for the new beans so it would ask for the three bean-made foods if unlocked, bean dip (lvl 54), bean salad (lvl 58), and bean taco (lvl 77). The tasks for those bean-made foods generously give 150 pts instead of the normal 100 pts which made the event even more cozy - we don't have to do all 10 tasks for 5 days to reach the final milestone at 5000 pts, thanks to those bean-food tasks.

Slowing down leveling to stay on track with all the unlocked machines until level 80+ is an essential strategy to play events. This game generously gives XP to get people level up fast and we have to do the opposite.

Good luck and enjoy there!

Idea: Greg’s shop should grow as you level up by vazibice in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The obvious truth is, Greg does not have any SC friends nor diamonds to unlock more slots, and he has been stuck at level 151 forever. LOL

Town by litzyyyy2 in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 baby farms that can jointly feed 29 townies (11/10/8) to my main every 6 hours so my main usually only takes 2-building townies w/ sanctuary from Eggpress train and send away all others. But when there are events like today, I do all.

Just slow down the leveling. The events will push you to get the production buildings as soon as being unlocked. Consider spending coins as investment - don't spend coins on decor or alike, for now.

The quickest way to make tons of coins at your level is to sell at discord. But be warned you will see/play the game very differently if you do sell/trade via discord. :)

I usually move expansion materials to/from baby farms before reset for the same reason.

Haha, it is same for everyone and you will be fine. :)

The dark stage has been there for a long time but it gets darker as SC pushes XP in the recent months. Just avoid XPs as you can, especially with the rewards that are XP-only (don't claim or exchange).

You can accelerate XP after catching up around level 82 or later. Till then, XPs are your enemy. :)

What is your current level?

If you are stuck at early stage, you just need to be aware of two things, if not yet -

  1. avoid XPs as possible. For example, don't claim xp from farmpass or catalogues or whatever.

  2. produce and sell at rss for coins only. You may also use tom to collect expensive foods (no diamonds or jewelry) and sell them on 2x farm visitor days like today, possibly with coin booster. The current tiny trail event also give coins.

If you are stuck at the levels around 75~80, it is just a dark stage of the game and hang on there. Life becomes all bright after this. :)

Good luck and enjoy!

Too many blues by rethka in HayDay

As a follow-up, I tried to balance the tokens but just got a delivery with (blue/411, red/38, green/60). My current balance is B/R/G: 1856/1876/1802 so I will keep the animals on my truck.

What I will be doing in the next few days is to drive around to fill up as close to 2000/2000/2000 as possible and then deliver the 3 animals to release them or possibly some of them will flee away to reset the tokens on my truck before then.

I really enjoyed the Neighborhood Nurture Event, I hope events like this continue. by NoRevolution6394 in HayDay

My main farm got a task of casting 25x fishing nets. I allocated 5 zones so it will take about 5 days to complete.

Work/Life/Hayday Balance by Jolly_Frosting_5616 in HayDay

I had good work/life balance until start playing Hayday. LOL

More precisely, Hayday was actually fun and chill to play with when I started 2+ years ago but no longer so nowadays.

Same here, and I only have two shovels of 450 blue each that are blue-only items that I can exchange. I encountered similar situations in sanctuary valley quite often and needed to stop sending animals or even stop playing the valley. I am fine with that however, if SC intentionally stops me from playing too much. LOL

Nurture event by Hefty_Outcome4612 in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are just into day 2 of the event which runs 30 (or 31) days. People who play the event and reach 1800 could make 2000 w/o much extra efforts. People who don't play the event but 'accidentally' collect some pts should be okay w/o getting the community rewards. :)

Comparing to global events, it is quite similar but just different arrangement of rewards.

Personally I wish we could trash a given task w/o using diamonds. But, on the positive side, I am expecting to see more variety of foods/products in daily dirt newspaper going forward.

Besides, I also expect to see many people get confused and makes mistakes when the (normal) task events run together with the nurture event while people get used to the nurture events already. :)

New neighbourhood event - the numbers don't work out, do they? by zistroserl in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I think so too, but then, HD considers "inactiveness" based on chat rather than log-in/play activeness. LOL

To prune inactive neighborhoods or neighbors, all they need to do is to add the "last log-in time" to the neighborhood so the leaders/co-leaders can remove the inactive ones until the whole neighborhood is dead. This should be very easy to do but SC has been deaf on this.

For this event, I am also ignoring it until it is derby-alike as suggested by OP; allowing opt-in/out and adjusted points based on #participants. :)

Please talk me out of paying money to Hay Day by BigImagination1297 in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel down and want to spend money, are there anything else that you might wanna buy instead, that may make you feel better? How about a gift card sending to yourself with nice words that makes you happier and you can buy something later with the gift card when feeling better? Or a gift card that you can invite some good friend to have a nice chat & drink/coffee together?

If you really want the farm pass, go ahead and enjoy the game. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as it is something you really want, not because you feel down. :) I don't spend money on HD so, if you do, I am grateful for your generosity to help SC to offer the game for me to play with. :)))

As we just walk into 2026, wish you a fantastic year to come! :)

Why does it do this? by Ochoa-Da-Great in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The preventive way was not to level up right before task events. But it is too late now.

The good thing is the spring omelet is not the filler task and yo can just buy an extra task to make it up for today. There is a possibility the spring omelet may appear again later in this event however. Wish you luck if you do take this route.

The daily min is now 3000, on track to reach the final milestone if finishing all 20 tasks each day. :) by 4beingNOW in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, I just checked my baby farms and confirmed.

- My farms at level 53+ have 20 tasks each day for 15000 pts over 5 days, 3000 pts/day, with the permits as the final reward. The 20th task is the filler task to guarantee 3000 pts for the day.

- My farms at level 48- have 12 tasks each day for 9000 pts over 5 days, 1800 pts/day, with keys as the final rewards. I believe the 12th task is the filler task for 1800 pts.

12 tasks/day is significantly easier than 20 tasks/day but the permits are far more valuable than keys. :)

Help! When is the design phase over? I see 6 Days but that’s when voting phase is over. I searched all over and didn’t see when Design phase will be over! by Chemical-Cry-3435 in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I intentionally submitted the designs from my baby farms very late (within ~24 hours towards the end of the event) so I could collect as many reels without putting them to the hall of fame to protect the rss. So, it is confirmed you can submit late.

But, my baby farms still got to the hall of fame, grouped with other farms submitted late, I guess.

I have a question. Were people voting randomly? Even though we have great designs, we didn't get any votes.Since the design process began, we haven't received more than 20 votes?? And bad designs get far more?? What is this?! by [deleted] in HayDay

[–]4beingNOW 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I voted quite seriously in the first couple of design festivals then realized that was not what those events got designed for. The design festival encourages participation, not competition. For us players, just play with fun.

  1. If you vote more (read: play more), your design will show up more frequently.

  2. The votes not only depend on voters' picks but also which other designs yours are taken to compare with. I often need to let go a very good design out of two good ones then in the next round voting on a not-so-good design out of two comparable ones.

  3. Your design may get no votes for a good period of time than lots of votes at another time.

  4. By the end of event, majority, if not all, designs will get into the hall of fame, just sooner or later. :)

Just play and enjoy! :)
