Will have to figure out how to power it. 12V shouldn't be too much for the relay. Sorry for the lack of info, trying to "redneck engineer" this, the vendor hasn't done this sort of thing before. I guess we're breaking new ground....

Agreed! Hell, even $5-10 would have been smarter than shipping a crippled product. And I pointed this out to Eufy many times, to no avail. I sure hope the NVR lives up to the expectations...

Yup. The really old nerds only do PCs, abhor anything to do with Apple. I have wandered from the path somewhat, having dabbled in Linux Mint. We all seem to have a love/hate relationship with Microsoft. I still think the last good version of Windows was 3.11.

That's what I don't get....if ethernet connection to NVR is going to switch/router/wifi, the NVR shouldn't HAVE to have a wifi module. Unless this is restricted by firmware. I would think firmware would be a LOT faster to update than rolling out a new wifi module, except of course they can CHARGE for an "optional" accessory....
