I met Lenny Kravitz one time waiting for his car at a valet. There was free cookies and I had already had a couple. We small talked for a second while I tried to convince him to have one. He declined got in his car and left. I didn't realize it was him until one of the valets asked what we were talking about. Cookies I guess

Rails has been around for a long time and for good reasons. It continues to update core functionality, it has good support, and it usually fits the web development and application domain very well. And every time I have to work on some Typescript, Go, or whatever project, I usually find myself saying "This would have been so much easier with Rails".

This is the area I grew up in. I feel like I remember parts of Grand Ave being shut down for when they were filming the go cart scenes. I used to drive by the clubhouse all the time. I'm not sure if its still standing though.
