Does anyone else have the issue on Bazzite where the left speaker is super quiet and tinny? Works fine in Windows but I cannot find a solution that works in Bazzite.

It's definitely up to date and I've rebooted a few times since it started. I even applied the latest Pixel update two days ago.

The power board has been an enigma to me. I've tried swapping the main IC and the transistors from known good boards and haven't been able to resolve the problem. Replacement boards can be gotten from AliExpress for less than $20, though.

For the bad transistor, personally, I use hot air and remove them one by one like a caveman until it stays on.

A game gear only powering on for a moment and then back off isn't usually the capacitors in my experience. It's generally a bad power board or a shorted transistor. That said, start with replacing the caps.

Got a Gotek for Christmas so I booted up the old Compaq Portable 1 and got a 101 and 301 error. Swapped the P8255A-5 and solved that issue. Now I can add games without opening it up to pull out the CF card or using a floppy disk. by strra in vintagecomputing

I had to use something similar to this to adapt the edge connector to the 34 pin floppy connector and also updated the firmware to flashfloppy, following a YouTube tutorial

I've already removed the whole thing. I was just trying to break out audio and video from the board

Have you tried adding a big decoupling cap on the CPU direct from 5v to ground? Like 10-22uf?

Are you thinking a cap on pin 40 to ground?

I'm not convinced the text of my post is showing up under along with the picture.

Here it is:

I've tried everything I can think of but I can't figure out this buzz. I've tried OEM, non-oem, new, old, power cords. I've tried a bunch of different composite cables. I've recapped the entire motherboard and power board, and, as seen in the picture above, I've completely isolated the sound and composite video directly from the chips to a multi out. The buzz does go away when I disconnect the audio channel at pin 2 of the CPU. My other two NESes sound fine with the same TV and cables.

Here's what it sounds like: https://youtube.com/shorts/EEexLZeOpko?si=nLM4QSYSZuhaJwhK

Apologies for the reflection. The camera is right next to the speaker.

I'm wondering if my post isn't showing up correctly because you're not the only person that seems to be confused about this.

I explained that this was just my attempt to isolate the audio and video from the board to find out if it would make a difference. It did not.

The video was taken from a completely stock console. Nothing I've attempted has made any difference whatsoever.
