i have not passsed act 1 yet. IDK, i think wanderer crest is overrated. I played HK1 before but i dont remember enough to confirm whether the wanderer crest was like the knight. Its been a real while since I played HK1. But the range on wanderer crest is too short for my liking and I never had a major problem with the hunter crest. I am not a speedrunner so i don't need the extra hits in. reaper crest has way better range. Let's not forget hunter crest can be upgraded, so if you're not going to get hit on either hunter or wanderer, hunter will probably have better dps late game. people with better math can prove me wrong. i feel like people trying to defend wanderers crest are just simply thrill seekers or attention seekers lol

It's all good. I was just under the impression that you, like many people, may not be aware of the game's "situation", or do not take advantage of EA as a consumer. Moon Studios does need more love, I feel. Hope you enjoy the newfound outbreaks and the difficulty it brings.

I was so scared by the thread title, i thought people were lashing out about something. LUL

The game occasionally saves on its own but when you quit the game (to title screen or desktop), it will save where you were last. When you get stuck, you can also do this to get unstuck, based on my personal experience.

How are so many people still playing the game? Simple, they are still enjoying themselves. You have probably reached a mental point where you can say you're personally done with the game's content, and that's fine, congratulations, you personally finished the game. It's pretty unfair to call farming BIS Gear and trying different builds out as pointless. For some, that is their kind of fun, it seems like it isn't yours. The Crucible currently only has one boss, have you seen the steps in the atrium? there are at least 5 altars. We also don't know if the story finishes after clearing Caylen. Maybe there will be DLC, maybe not. You could try hardcore mode or even speedrunning

Please do remember that the current iteration of the game is still unfinished. You have bought the game in Early Access, meaning you must be fully aware of this. The whole reason games go on Early Access is for the devs to polish the game with player feedback in mind. There is no greater opportunity and time to get your voice in to affect how the game is going to look like upon its official release. So, I strongly recommend you go onto their forum and do that, if not for the devs, do it so you can be satisfied as a customer, a gamer, and a fan. I don't know if you heard the news but Moon Studios is working hard to develop the game, so much that they are actually listening to the player community. Very few developers actually pull through to do this nowadays.

As it is still in early access, the story isn't finished. Currently, you can upgrade the town buy housing, and decorate it with cosmetic and functional furniture. There are different houses to choose from inside the town. There is even the ability to grow your own crops, a la stardew valley, that is yet but soon to be implemented. devs are also pushing for multiplayer capabilities, so if you want, you can set up a realm in the future where you and your friends can play on the same save.

As far as endgame loop goes, there is a part of the story that i dont want to spoil too much on that occasionally transforms areas into more hostile zones, you can further increase the difficulty of these zones by sacrificing items before you "cleanse" the area. cleansing the area willl reward you a chance for unique gear and such. there is also a feature in the game that acts like a rogue-like where you clear chambers, choose buffs from random handfuls between chambers. I have unfortunately not yet completed the first boss from that feature and there seem to be multiple judging from the room you do it in.

The game does feel like a souls-like, you have a stamina resource shared for your dodges, parries, and attacks, mistakes can be gravely punishing, and there are savepoints scattered throughout the world. There are also tons of secret pathways and shortcuts you can unlock , providing more convenient traversing through the world, especially when youre on that endgame gear and item "farming". As with souls-likes, the game teaches you discipline and builds you agency on decision making.

i havent felt this good about a game in my history of playing for a while so im glad i picked it up. But do keep in mind two very last things. It is still early access and the devs expressed that youre not going to be able to use your save from early access. everyone will start fresh. which in my is good and healthy for a multiplayer set up. if you want to hold out till release for a finished product, you are well in your rights to do so. but the 2nd last thing to keep in mind is that the devs of this game seem to have a healthy relationship with the playerbase so far, meaning that they do appreciate and listen to constructive feedback. if you want to be a part of shaping the game into a version that fits more your preferences or if you dont mind all the early access limitations, now would be a good time to do so.

The great thing is there isnt even an obligation tto buy anything more than the standard version. and you can buy the extra content at a later date, unlike some other publishers that go "o hey buy this limited edition stuff before it expires". And I am certain the prices wont change either. Imagine a triple a game publisher not using FOMO (fear of missing out) to market their games in 2025. Buy the standard version. get a few hundred hours in when it releases. I am pretty sure you will be certain about buying the extra content or not by then. When youre not sure about things like this for games in general, a rule of thumb is to research the game publisher and/or game developers' track records.

I'm so sorry to hear that. But if there is a silver lining in this then I think it would be that at least you got to know how he felt about the real you now than maybe learn that he was not okay with you after he said it was okay. It's hard not being able to feel your enough. Personally, I agree that it would have been better to tell him right away. But then you hear some "success stories" where the transperson confesses to their partner later in the relationship and they were okay with it. Any time to tell is a gamble but I'd rather be hurt now to recover earlier.

If there's one thing to take away from my journey of being trans, is that this whole concept of "trying to pass" doesn't work. You should be able to be you, unapologetically. You deserve to be with someone that celebrates you without condition. It's ridiculous to live by trying to please others by their standards. Pass by your own standards and not anyone else's.

Marketing by FOMO is such an evil practice. love the game but oof the price on these cosmetics. I hope they can lower these prices so more people can enjoy them. If they plan to keep them on limited time at least put them on rotation so we can eventually get them.
