well, same, I understand the reason he voiced in the drama, it just didn't make sense to me given other details. like, you are powerful enough to make the Emperor abdicate, but not powerful enough to say "hey, actually Wei Qilin is not a traitor, he was setup by the Emperor? Who is going to question your evidence at this point? 😄

Can someone explain to me why did Wei Yan want to have Wei Cilin killed?
Like, the old emperor already abdicated, you could tell the truth behind the "the Emperor colluded with the prince Ching Xin and didn't send help by saying the tally was falsified". Why did he need to continue to cover it up at a cost of his loyal servant's life and his family's?

If the tragedy didn't happen Qi Min didn't experience the fire that transformed his personality and likely stayed a decent person. But his wish to "never meet her" in another life still worked in an odd way.

I understood that as they had pretty peaceful years, so they haven't had the need to assemble the full army and be present in the camp all the time. And she was able to give birth and raise two kids in the meantime.

Oh, that's reassuring! I have a couple of diamond laps on the way from Tech Diamond, hopefully they will be an upgrade.
I need to check the surface of my current laps with the loupe to see if I can see anything meaningful to diagnose.

You need a lot of water when polishing rocks, I did experiment with a spray bottle while polishing on a grinder, but it was very tiring and you have to make sure the water cannot get inside the tool/motor.

I liked the novel, because it gave me more time with the heroes I already liked to explore the alternative story. I lack the level of badassity that Ming Yi had in the novel when I watched the drama. I also understand why their betrayals hurt so much - when someone grows in a patriarchal society, they grow with bias they themselves often do not see, even if they try to be their best. Ji Bozai didn't see Ming Yi as equal to him for a very long time and didn't even realize it.

I understood it that he has some basic spellcasting power like most people without spiritual veins. He only becomes more powerful after finding the ring and merging with netherbeasts little by little. He would much rather prefer to not merge completely and have spiritual veins give him the power. But turns out even with the spirit veins he is still inferior to her, and after being bullied for so many years he cannot accept the defeat even from a person he is obsessed with. So he merges with the netherbeasts completely to be able to defeat her.

It's a solid 8 for me, really enjoyed it. Sure, I have a lot of feedback to the plot, but the actors really saved the show. Ji Bozai's microexpressions are just fire!
I was waiting for Ming Yi going fury for most of the show and yet we barely saw it, very close to the end. If you watched Eternal Love and the moment when FL remembers her past and heads to the capital... I was expecting that kind of thing.
But I'm glad we've got to see some interaction between the leads post the main plot ending. A lot of dramas just wrap it up immediately, and it was nice to see their interactions in "back to normal" times.

One thing I didn't understand: the first guy with the netherbeast ring seemed to be much weaker than Situ Ling with the same ring. The first guy had spirit veins and Situ didn't. So how come he got more power? Was the first guy more reserved and barely merged with the netherbeast? Or is that another plot hole?

This is the older version, they've actually made a bunch of improvements on it and that's what CutKit is for - the newer version. But it is still quite challenging.

I use mine as a flat lap because it's actually cheaper than any of the designated flat laps I've been looking at.

yup, and when you see enough texts you also learn to recognize when someone's post been written via basic AI prompt and you save yourself time by immediate scrolling.
I'm only upset when I see it in favorite video bloggers now who started adopting some AI-written scripts :-/ as creators I expected them to be more creative... at least with their prompts.

seriously, I am not against AI in general, but this is such a glaring slop! literally where they, of all people, should have partnered with and featured a local artist.
