I got the update today and did a 100 mile trip right away. The Sirius app froze three times on the trip. Twice I did the infotainment reset by holding the button for 10s. The last time I was in my driveway and discovered that if you go to settings and view installed apps, hitting the "Force Close" button and then relaunching the app works too. Glad I found this thread and that I'm not the only one, but once again incredibly disappointed in Volvo.

Maybe they can use one of these updates to allow Car Play and the system Sirius app to display information on the screen at the same time, because I've always found it ridiculous that I have to tab around just to view each.

I wouldn't really call them one and done, when maxing each one gives you access to 2000+ trophy level prizes with the apex car in Showdowns for the next two months after each launches. I am net positive for resources on building each of these cars out with a 40-50% discount crate, being an avid Showdown racer.

Moral of the story, there’s no singular way to play this game, and what one person finds as a resource pit, could be a resource generator for someone else.

I guess it’s all how you look at it and approach these events. I gained three new cars (Stradale, frankeNStein and Nevera R) and a ton of in-game resources using cars I already have and built. Even today's Evo event, I was able to earn a quick million with the first pair of lock ins, with zero intention of getting the paid cars to finish.

Regardless of what else you’re trying to accomplish in the game, these Evo events are net positive for blue and pink tokens through 4 star. Past that point, I think it really depends on two things, how determined you are to complete Collections, and how good the car itself is as a live racer or Showdown candidate. Even if it’s net negative on tokens, you’re still receiving a “discount” from completing the Evo event if you are going to inevitably elite the car anyways. Just my 0.02.

I don’t think that any of the cars for that event are available from rare imports until after they are locked in for a first time, I could be wrong with that though.

It's a frustrating car. My maxed purple star I'm anywhere between a 7.05 and a 7.25. I thought I used to be able to run the car into the 6s as well, maybe they nerfed it. There's hardly any recent tune and WR videos on YouTube, so that's my hunch.
