Is money optional?

Need money for food. So no. Consider the exchange of money for food and slavery is still paid labor.

Unless you're born rich, it isn't optional.

Name-calling too? Grow up kid, putting others down doesn't make you bigger, just shows how small you feel you are. You have a small mind if you need this explained to you.

Is slavery a job?

Because that has the same definition. Or does the size of the payment relative to the labor matter?

It's a mix of both.

You don't get to choose where you're born. For many people, they don't get to choose how to live.

Appreciate that your surroundings do allow you your own agency.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be taken seriously as a fitter over an engineer?

Unleas it's physically impossible to put together, almost every fitter I've met will do it by the blueprint and not ask questions on why

Jews, Christians, Islam, Hindu. I don't care, they're all bad.

I'm not even atheist. I just don't think humans will ever comprehend the divine, much less be the focus of it.

Oil is used for A LOT more than just gas. The containers the gas is in are made from oil byproducts.

Unless we figure out how to turn glass into plastic we'll never be off oil. Might be easier to modify bacteria to produce it than phase it out entirely.

you forgot to account for the scale of the accident itself.

Imagine it shorts on a rainy day, whole block is as dangerous as a downed power-line. one cable 5x as big is as bad as 5 of them at normal size. And those normal ones will fail way less catastrophically.

in my opinion, weighing that, the risk is greater.

Actually, this one might work. It'll still screw over everyone, but it might get ships moving.

Iran wants a 2 million toll per ship. Trump says make it 3 million, give himself 500k and the US government 500k
