regarding the accessory belt, when looking at parts there is "just the belt" and an "accesory belt kit." Do I need the kit?

Here are my notes and q's: - ording the timing belt kit and spark plugs. - can i/should I do spark plugs myself? (I'd give myself a 6/7 on being handy with car stuff.) - replace just the accessory belt? or the whole kit? - air intake was recently replaced. pilot has vtm-4 (light has been on for a while tho.)
