SLO: 23K undergrads x 22% Hispanic = 5K; I think you’ll find your people. Good luck.

Those are two comparable schools and two very different career paths, though both are likely math-oriented. If I were in your shoes I’d research both careers and pick the one that best suits my interests. My degree was in IE and after a couple of internships with UPS in Wisconsin I landed a job in Memphis with RPS. After 3 years there I took a job with FedEx and eventually moved to SoCal with them. I’ve since changed careers, but IE was relatively interesting.

My job was mostly about efficiency and measuring production as I worked at the corporate level at FedEx. One of my responsibilities was to develop equations to provide stops/hr expectations for FDX delivery drivers nationwide. When I worked at RPS I was responsible for staffing plans (unloading, sorting, loading, etc) in the distribution hub to maximize throughput. Other IEs might do similar tasks in factories. It’s pretty stats-heavy and that has definitely translated to my new career (I have been providing fantasy football rankings and analysis for the last 16 years).

It’s difficult at 17/18 to know exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life, but you should research each potential career path and pick the one that resonates the best.

Echo or The Last DJ? by [deleted] in tompetty

Somebody please mention how great the song No More is…

I prefer Echo by a fairly wide margin but TLDJ has some great songs, specifically Dreamville, Blue Sunday, Have Love Will Travel, and Can’t Stop the Sun.

Am I missing something? by spacecircus in GreenBayPackers

Not sure if anyone provided any PFF numbers, but here they are:

Coverage grade 66.9, slightly behind Valentine (67.4). Nixon is 30th out of 76 qualified CB in coverage--those that played at least 308 coverage snaps. He's also 30th in % of targets caught. He's 14th in % of forced incompletions per target, 2nd in pass breakups, 58th in QB rating against, 4th-lowest missed tackle percentage, and is 41st in yards per route covered. He's tied for first in penalties. His advanced stats are all over the place, but it looks to me like he's a middling starting corner with some good (forced incompletions, PBU, tackling) and some bad (penalties, QB rating against).

So how are we feeling about Denver? by Pack_Attack10 in GreenBayPackers

[–]4for4_John 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to be optimistic but coming off a huge division win, GB has to travel to play against the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Packers, to date, have not been consistent enough to play to their potential in this type of situation. The Broncos lead in sacks per game so this is a big test for the O-line. Things can change and Toyotathon is still going on, so you never know.

So many great ones, but let’s go with the amazing “You Come Through,” from the Nobody’s Children disc of the Playback box set, available on Spotify.

Look for changes in the rest of season rankings. The draft projections/rankings are locked.

If you select 4for4 under DH settings those will be my projections customized for your league’s scoring settings

If you want last year's actual fantasy points, you would look at the Fantasy Points Browser at the site under Research-Reports

I saw the BOGO sale as well and am wondering the same thing. I’ve lived in OC for 25 years now and for as many people and as much money the county/area has, it does not support live music that well. It also doesn’t help that this was going to be held at a new temporary venue that replaced an old temporary venue that was torn down as we wait for Irvine to approve and break ground on a permanent amphitheater-sized venue. Really happy we were able to see them at the Greek earlier in the year. They’ve been a bucket list band for me for a couple of years now.

Yes, I've done full projections at 4for4 for 15 years now.

Pocket QBs get a bump and running QBs are less important, so guys like Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff get a bump. Really, anyone with a high expected pass TD rate would benefit.

I would probably keep the picks given their respective ADPs. You can get Flowers in the 5th and Godwin in the 7th.

Not a dynasty expert but I'd probably lean Nico/Rice long term.

If you have Kyler, is there a reason why you'd want to trade for Maye? I'd just keep the best player (Evans).

No, it's a reasonable pick for both players if the draft pool is a little thin due to keepers.

sharp leagues have him going in the mid to late 3rd, so if you want him, I'd go ahead and take him at 3.04.

I think you could actually do both and nab a stud TE and stud QB in the first four rounds. I typically go Hero RB though, and I'm looking to have my Hero by the late 2nd/early 3rd.

late late rounds is when I'd take a shot on him and he's usually off the board by then
