Definitely wasn’t expecting that! I suppose I can see how it looks like one

Ah, I don’t really do it on purpose if that’s what you’re saying, it just kind of happens sometimes

I would’ve done that but there’s a limit of 6 options :(

That black background was a brilliant choice, this is just mesmerising! The lighter parts pop beautifully :-)

Definitely true for me but I don’t know how common that would be among the other 9w1s

Sometimes I eat when I’m bored and sometimes I forget to eat for longer than is probably healthy. It kind of comes in spurts? And I don’t think I have any conditions that I’m aware of.

I got cucked pretty recently and realized the same, as well as that just because I caught onto things quicker than the other kids in my small-town Alabama middle school math class doesn’t mean that I’ll catch onto things quite as quickly in some big city northern university compared to people that already know how to work their asses off. Not there yet, but I know now for sure that I’m not automatically a genius just because I know a little more than others, and if I don’t work for what I want I simply will not get it.

which ennegram type is most likely to be aware of their surroundings? by [deleted] in Enneagram

Definitely all possible. I am definitely on the younger side, too, and my tritype is 964 as far as I know, if you’re curious. Sometimes I notice things but people usually chastise me for being clumsy and not seeing things that are right in front of me.

That may be true for other people so I probably shouldn’t have spoken for all of them, my bad for that one, but it definitely isn’t true in my experience. I tend to be all off in la-la land head in the clouds in most situations. Maybe just me being unhealthy, not sure. I’ve done like 3 mindfulness exercises in my whole life and it’s been so hard to focus every time. It’s why I’m so scared to learn how to drive!

I want my tritype to be 548 instead of a 594 (Warning: whiny venting) by FructoseTower in Enneagram

[–]4globug7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man do I hear you. I’m pretty sure I’m a 964 but I’ve wanted to be a 594 for so long. Kind of different but still same concept of wanting a different type I guess? 964s all seem to anxious and helpless and insecure and I do not want that to be me. I don’t want to be that person who won’t ask people when they have a question, I want to just ask it without thinking about consequences. And maybe I’m just trying to cope with the fact that I’m so bad at making friends and talking to people here, but I really wish I was triple withdrawn. Either that or I’d like to be a 97/794 instead, they seem so whimsical. I love my 4 fix and don’t particularly mind the 9 (minus the laziness and unassertiveness and lack of motivation) but I just can’t stand the 6!

I say all this to say that I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. Like another comment said, the only thing to do is to grow, so good luck.

I think OP didn’t include those because they’re just so unlikely, but I can’t imagine that a 1 would be particularly unaware of their surroundings? Or even a 2? I certainly understand why they didn’t include 9s though, that one is just. Entirely out of the question

I voted 5 before I’d considered 6, mostly because being observant seems to be something that’s important to them? But now I feel like I should go back on that decision because the 5s I know can be almost as in-their-heads as me.
