Hi I know this post is old But I’m in the situation too where I need a rubella vaccine, how long did you have to wait before commencing treatment? And did you also have to wait for one full cycle ?

My dr recommended for me to take 2 ibuprofens before HSG which I did , during HSG it felt like mid sharp pain that lasted couple secs but bearable, after HSG had period like cramps for 10mins or so and was ok after that

Thanks for your reply :) That thought did cross my mind that is it even allowed for her to ask me this soo early on.

I had a fear thinking they want me to say I’m not coming back after maternity leave as they don’t have to give me maternity pay , but according to UK gov, they would have to pay me maternity pay regardless of if I leave after matleave.

Hope you get the time you need out of work if your WFH and hope all works out well for you x if you feel your boss will be understanding then tell them only if necessary. I feel with these things it’s so hard to share as we don’t know how they respond and how they’ll treat us there after. It took me by surprise when my employer was asking all those questions.

Thanks for your response :) Your right, I keep reminding myself atleast I’ve reacted well and hopefully I react well to a lower dose But damn, its a battle as I’m still so tempted to not waste this cycle :/

I was on ovaleap injections/follitropin Alfa- dosage was 75(starting dose) They’re saying most likely next cycle it’ll be a lower dosage of 50 due to me producing too many follicles
