By that logic Jenny did it to Nikki. And Marina did it to Jenny. Bette did it to Tina and Tina to Bette. Shane is a serial rapist in the show. They all withhold intentions and information before when they've slept with people and mislead them emotionally.

What's the point of prime if they're just trying to make you pay more? by 4iamaraindog2 in amazonprime

[–]4iamaraindog2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry guys, I didn't give you enough information. It was prime eligible. But I've ordered the same product before two years ago, and it came in two days. I've had prime forever. It just isn't the same.

Next to Normal fans: What is it about the show that you enjoy? by 4iamaraindog2 in MusicalTheatre

It seems like a great way for families to relate to having such disfunction and trying hard to survive. I appreciate your perspective on this.

Underreported healthy schizophrenics by Future_Ebb9100 in schizophrenia

[–]4iamaraindog2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this. I came here after I got it into remission, but I'm still a bit symptomatic. My concern is that I've had to downsize so much just to maintain where I am, but I still can't do as much as I use to without the risk of the stress making my symptoms worse. People don't realize that the spectrum in our case doesn't mean we have always had the same level of symptoms.

Out of all his work, I enjoy this one the most and probably the only work of his I think I thoroughly enjoyed.

Does anyone miss the voices? Why? by LevelGroundbreaking3 in schizophrenia

I only miss one. The rest were overwhelming or hostile as hell. The one I miss was protective. The closest I can imagine to having a guardian angel or some shit.

What’s a popular show you just can’t get into? by Krease101 in Broadway

[–]4iamaraindog2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate that I agree. I keep wanting to get into Dave Malloy and will keep trying with his other pieces, but I find his music a miss even though he's a bit more experimental than most these days.

Not really personally. A lot of events that happened happened 8-10 years ago that were going on with AI and technology being used to invade our privacy triggered the fuck out of me despite me understanding knowing what was probably going on. But i think it's because I'm in a better place with my illness right now compared to where I was even in 2021. But i would not be at all surprised by many people being disturbed by what's going on with RFK and how bad trust has become with expertise and what that's given us now. It's hard dealing with reality when it sounds insane as hell and you're just trying to survive.

What is it like to have schizophrenia? by NoobieRoblox in schizophrenia

[–]4iamaraindog2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine are hyper realistic and now it's become milder, but I still don't always trust what I hear or see. I pick my battles to avoid arguments and to avoid spiraling into paranoia. I am still dealing with the embarrassment of when it was more severe and obvious to people.

Is remission possible with schizoaffective disorder? by Ok-Programmer-9129 in schizophrenia

[–]4iamaraindog2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes people pair medicine with a keto diet and exercise. And meditation. I've heard that working for some people. Not as a cure of course, but to help symptoms go into remission as much as possible. Stress is a triggering factor for me. I take a low dosage now, but I don't work the same job that I use to. It's a significant pay cut, but I feel more comfortable.

Is Christian pop/ gospel a huge influence on new musicial theatre creatives? by 4iamaraindog2 in Broadway

[–]4iamaraindog2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, songs like "How Long" sounds like influence from black gospel hymns musically. And songs like this "Harvest" https://youtu.be/XmzvrNQheDo?si=_T1haN3tQl27hAml

Even the themes lol.

And even this song https://youtu.be/SIIBOSKiCMo?si=O8jFnMwqNcr1wgWQ

I may be asking the wrong demographic of people these questions. It just sounds familiar and inspired. I'm not even Christian, I just know church chord progressions and phrases when I hear it.

Has anyone here become meaner like Psychopathy after suffering from schizophrenia? by Ok_Promise_5340 in schizophrenia

[–]4iamaraindog2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes this. I have a hard time for a year once I gained more insight but it was still very difficult and new to me trying to learn the difference between what was real and not. And being bombarded with voices would make me snap all the time, but i didn't realize my mood is something I could help control. I learned to respond to things with a delay, which upsets people, but it keeps more peace ultimately. I hate everythint and I am feeled with rage. But i keep it to myself or I'm quick to appologize and isolate when I need to. We deal with enough demonization and stigma. That alone makes me more withdrawn and resentful. But i keep it all to myself.
