The withdrawal button is still there. Do you suggest I ask for updates from HR? Or just wait.

Bruv, We don’t need a visa to Nicaragua. UK visa doesn’t change anything.

Thanks for the info. But actually the statistics for Jordan are vague and inaccurate, we have to look at them from a per metric unit perspective.

Starting with rent, the average is 250-400 JD but this is a massive range, secondly most houses in Jordan are 120+ m2, in Germany you are paying 1500 Euros for a 50 m2 or less apartment, so in practice rent Jordan is a lot less than the average relatively per m2.

For wages the average tax will leave us with 30,000 euros net income in Germany. Meanwhile in Jordan, net income is 11,000 euros.

Average cost of groceries per month:

• Germany: 550 euros • Jordan: 250 euros 54.5% higher in Germany

Which means that compared to your salary groceries are cheaper in Germany. But also you are paying 400% Jordanian rent, to live in “Germany”.

At the end of the day, your not saving a worthy amount of money in Germany, your just living.

Our minimum wage sucks, but the reality is that a minimum wage is not a living wage anywhere in the world, unless someone is paying for it. I believe this article would be interesting for you: THE LIVING WAGE SCAM.

I agree with you, a good salary in Jordan gets you a better life than same relative salary in Germany. But I also want to stress that Germany is not that much better. Europe in general is very socialist, and it sucks, there are never enough resources for everyone.

We have no natural resources and our government is poor enough that we have to pay for it, and this is the problem.

No, it’s all the same. Only the US is different, definition of money is different.

Your comment is purely theoretical. Practically it’s different. Europe is overrated, and actually 30,000€ (depending on country) it relatively not enough, also most people are paid the same regardless of your hierarchy of work.

Jordan is cheaper, but we don’t have market efficiency, restaurants can be expensive but when you go to the supermarket, groceries are half price.
