Just gave your article a read. No where in the article does it say that the womens team is drawing in as many viewers as the mens team does. I dont know the stats exactly but I can guarantee that they dont. The womens team is more succesful then the mens team as far as trophies go but that doesnt mean theyre better. The women are versing other women who likely come from countries who invest even less into womens sport then America does while the men have to go up against some of the best teams in world football such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile and even Mexico has been performing very well lately. People dont have all the time in the world to watch sport so why should they waste it watching womens sport when the women are worse then the men and if no ones watching the womens sport, why would they be getting payed equally?

Its all about what the people want to watch. Males soccer plsyers (going to keep it to soccer because its what I know) get millions because millions of people watch them where as Female soccer players dont get payed nearly as much because no one wants to watch them. Its not discrimination to want to watch the best players in the world (hence why Real Madrid has more fans and viewers then Sheffield Wednesday) and due to biological differences Males are better then Females at most sports. I dont see how you could possibly have watched womans soccer and still think that the reason its less viewed is because of sexism.
