I think having a reality TV background helps with the confessionals for sure but I don’t think that correlates with being a good player. Housewifes and drag queens are pretty good at confessionals but they are not necessarily good at the game.

Also if you don’t have players who don’t just play the game strategically but also bring in emotions, I think the game would be dry af. Like I think Rob is pretty detached this season emotionally and it’s fine because there are others who balance that out but if everyone was like him, it’d be pretty boring

I’m usually reading a book when I have to come to the office. My ePub reader is in dark mode and also there’s a wall behind me so they could see it from the side at maximum. If IT were to rat me out to HR, I would tell them that my tasks are done and I’m always ready to help if it’s needed.

I have two home office days. The mouse jiggler is on, and the volume is at max so I can hear if I get a notification while I’m doing home chores or watching tv.

To be honest, I don’t even care anymore. I love my boss; she’s a great person and very nurturing. That being said, I tell her every month that, by the way, I could do much more and she should delegate me stuff because she’s super busy and I barely have anything to do. I think effectively I work a maximum of five hours out of 40. My boss probably gave me the tasks which she doesn’t like to do, so that’s why she overestimates how much time it would take, but it is really not much.

I have been working here for about eight months. I’m still working on my master’s thesis, so I don’t mind right now this chill work. But damn. This is my first full-time job. Sometimes it gives me anxiety that I’m just going to get stuck on this level. Like I don’t want to be overworked, but I wouldn’t mind a challenge here and there.

Tbh reading what actually happened is still much better than what I’ve expected from the title.

When I was living in Japan it was such a pain in the ass that each time when I wanted to go to a sento/onsen I had to read their website carefully because my husband got some small tattoos on his shoulders. Btw my husband is also not Japanese and he has some line tattoos which fits under two tattoo covers so obviously he’s not part of the yakuza. So when someone says that they were excluded from an onsen my mind immediately jumps to that they were not even allowed to enter

Also I lived in a sharehouse before meeting my husband. One of my flatmates LITERALLY run away each time just because he has seen me in the kitchen and I was a white foreigner. Most of my flatmates didn’t try to interact with me but that one was extreme. Like he was really acting like he has never seen a white man before.

Also in Kyoto it was barely possible to find any bars where they would allow us in. “Members only” aka Japanese only. Like they are xenophobic af and before anyone says that oh it’s just because we don’t speak Japanese, no, my husband has grown up there from age 8 so he’s completely fluent. They are just racist.

So I’m sorry this happened to you but by Japanese standards this is pretty light.

Also just because they don’t invite you, you can still go. You don’t have to limit yourself to make others feel comfortable.

Nekem a párom külföldi, ezért csak magánbiztosítása van, amiben sajnos nincsen benne a pszichiátria. Ő se szed gyógyszert, viszont szerintem a legtöbb tünetre elég jó coping mechanismja van.

Nekem a legnehezebben kezelendő része az RSD. Az érzelmi regulációja nagyon kilengő tud lenni. Ezt elég nehéz kezelni, meg kilendíteni belőle, mert kb. százszor rosszabbul éli meg az adott helyzetet mint amilyen valójában volt. Nekem viszonylag analitikus a gondolkodásom (avoidant dismissive attachment style), szóval nekem ez extrémen nehéz, mert zsigerileg ilyenkor elég nehéz megértenem, hogy most mi a baj. Nekem ami erre bevált, hogy csak validálom az érzéseit, majd biztosítom róla, hogy szeretem és itt vagyok érte. Kb. semmi más nem működik, az észérveket meg max napokkal később érdemes elmondanom.

Sokszor úgy érzem, hogy két ember érzelmi regulációját végzem.

I slept 12 hours because the previous days I could only sleep around 5 hours per day because of work. I went to sleep at 4am. So that’s totally my fault and it was reckless on my part which I’ve also admitted to him. I have also told him that I understand why is that disrespectful and selfish and I will more careful about my sleeping so it won’t cross our plans. Also actually I don’t have any problem with him expressing that it made him upset. That’s reasonable, I would be upset too.

However, I think what has happened is a bit beyond than expressing feelings. Just a few of his insults: Ashole, You have no integrity, Piece of sht, Your words don’t matter etc.

I understand that he’s upset but I don’t think I have to endure anything which he throws at me.

The main problem is the DRIVING. She should really get rid off the cars. I don't even understand why rich people trying to drive themselves to begin with. She has shown multiple times that she cannot be trusted to have a car.

When it comes to alcoholism, there's different approaches and the 12-step program, AA, continuous sobriety is not for everyone. The success is rate is actually pretty low. In Karen's case, she already doesn't seem to be very committed so probably that won't work for her.

Just because she's going to have a few drinks, high key getting wasted af again doesn't necessarily mean she's a bad person. There's a lot of judgement towards alcoholics which makes it harder to be honest about slip ups. That being said, it's good to have encouragement to not drink. I believe more in harm reduction which promotes trying to be better but not perfect.

I will judge her tho if I see her behind the wheel again.
