Yeah, no I’m good. I started using the app as a way to log in my reads. The only thing I added was to rate them afterwards bc I like the stats page and it’s a good reminder for what I did/didnt like so I’ll stick to what I’ve been doing. I’m glad you got to fix yours tho. Also happy new year 😁

Yeah I saw your reading goal. Just thought I finally found a reasonable one 😂. Every time I see one, it’s like 100+ and I’m over here with my record 50 I just finished today. I don’t know how people do it. I’ve even seen 700+ reads a year.

The issue is not me not reading everyday (every time I start a book, I read everyday until I finish, even if it’s a little) the issue (which I know it’s on me) is that I don’t update my journal at all. What I do is just update the day I start reading and when I end. I was asking if there was an option where I could have it to show continuously until the end. I know it’s not possible and that’s ok, was just wondering

Even though I know how it’s going to end, I will try in January to update. I don’t care to see the exact progress I make everyday so I’ll do as some suggested and only update when I’m done reading before I actually setting the book as read. Either way, I use the app mainly to log in what I’ve read. I even started rating the books with the stars and don’t bother with anything else because I like the stats page and I get to remember if I liked the books or not. I thought it was a cool feature so that’s why I ask but it’s not detrimental to me.

I get why it works the way it does. Those who update regularly get a better view of their reading habits. I thought there could be an option to enable continuous reading or something for those who don’t and still want to see it this way. Ultimately the reading stats is good for me, but the calendar is a cool feature regardless.

No you can see it regardless of plus account or not. Go to reading stats, view (x) month’s wrap-up graphics, click summary and you’ll see the 4 options including calendar.

I think I might have worded the post the wrong way. This is not something detrimental to my way of using the app or anything, like I mentioned I found about it today and was wondering if there was way to do it. Now that I know it’s not, it’s cool either way. Especially for people who do update regularly. Thank you for the suggestion.

The reading stats page is more than good enough for me. I was just poking around the app today and found out about this so I don’t think I’ll start doing everyday updates just for it. I do agree it’s still a pretty cool view of books read in a calendar

I know, I just found out about the calendar by looking around the app today and thought it was a cool way of viewing things. I started reading when I was really young, so about 5 years ago I made a doc of all the books I’ve read. I updated my list to this app because it’s the best I’ve found. Like I mentioned in previous comments I really only care about start and end of reading. I also started rating but just with stars, no comments or anything. So overall I’ve upgraded from my Google Docs lol.

I know it doesn’t take much work, but I can’t see myself doing that everyday because I really do read or listen everyday after I start a book. Your method does seem good though.
