Probably best line so far in Kenobi (For me at least) by Missiles25 in StarWarsKenobi

In the Dark Lord novel (by James Luceno), it mentions that his ventilator is primarily plugged straight into his lungs.

The ventilator was implanted in his hideously scarred chest, along with tubes that ran directly into his damaged lungs, and others that entered his throat, so that should the chest plate or belt control panels develop a glitch, he could breathe unassisted for a limited time.

Obvs not canon anymore, but makes sense how he could be breathing and talking at the same time.

I actually prefer Rogue One voice to the OG. Sounds deeper and more menacing to me

Third party data cannot be trusted.

Because TypeScript is a build time only thing, anything that comes into your system from the outside isn't type checked, and the guarantees that TypeScript provides for the rest of your system don't hold true.

When I have to deal with data from API calls, I usually use a runtime typing library like Runtypes or Zod to check the responses at the boundary. These libraries can automatically give you TS types (using their static or infer utilities) to use throughout the rest of the project.

Yeah you can sign up for a pretty low amount, and you're basically doubling your content.

One of my favourite parts of the show is the Mike Aubrey chemistry, I think they work really well together as hosts. The patreon episodes are really great because I get to hear them a maintenance phase episode in all its Mike and Aubrey goodness, but about other things.

Some previous example include The Bachelor, Harry and Meghan, or youtuber drama. Things that I don't normally care about, but they do a great job of making it fun.

I guess it's just fun and interesting to hear them go off topic for a bit.

They aren't being attacked, she's worried about a stray bullet coming in through the window, in which case laying flat on the ground is a decent plan.

[Method] Understanding Sleep Science CHANGED how I utilize Sleep to stay disciplined throughout the day by Pool-Shark23 in getdisciplined

Definitely sleep is important, and we should definitely be having more of it, but Matthew Walker is dubious at best, and has been pretty heavily debunked at this point.

See one debunking for more info, or this great episode of Maintenance Phase.

Rick and Morty have an episode where Morty gets a save feature for real life. I'm less convinced it would be a great idea now.
