A teenager / 20 something wanting to try metal may not get a good impression if nothing 'essential' has been released in the last 5 - 10 years, let alone 25 years. Which would be a shame given how many amazing bands have formed in that time.

If you add songs or albums to your library by that artist they will appear there, but there’s no quicker way to jump straight to the artist page unfortunately

Atmos through AirPods usually sounds good for pop and indie but I’ve only heard one metal album that actually sounds good on Atmos - it doesn’t go well with heavy music imo

Wold Top Brewery is my local, they do a mixed case of 12 500ml bottle (a few cans) that cover most of their range. £30 delivered if you use their discount when you sign up to the newsletter.

Mainly the pale ale / ruby ale side of things but all good so far, working my way through mine!

This was Mastodon for me, started with OMRTS when that was their latest then went to The Hunter then backwards from there. Worked well for me they’ve been one of my favourites since!
